LIZZY’S LITTLE KITCHEN #PRtrip What a pleasure to finally meet the force of nature that is Lizzy Lyons at her amazing café, Lizzy’s Little Kitchen. Located on Church Street in the delightful Kerry town of Listowel, the restaurant serves up delicious, nutritious dishes using locally sourced foods. There are plenty of excellent choices and crowd-pleasing favourites on the menu, served up indoors in the pretty café, or in warmer weather, al fresco in the covered outdoor terrace which is full of historical significance; Listowel-born Irish writer, Bryan MacMahon, used to keep his horses here when he lived nearby. We had a wonderful lunch, enjoying Lizzy’s sparkling company and gorgeous, homemade food. The Salad of the Day was served on a bed of mixed greens topped with a cornucopia of grated carrot, spring onion, peppers, cucumber, red onion, sweet potato, avocado, beetroot, feta cheese, pomegranate, cherry tomato, candied nuts, cous cous, tabbouleh, and a tangy pomegranate dressing. And the Open Salmon Sandwich had a perfectly cooked fillet of salmon resting on homemade brown bread, drizzled with Marie Rose sauce, and accompanied by a selection of house salads. Of course, make absolutely sure you leave some room for Lizzy’s wonderful, freshly baked desserts and legendary sweet treats! What a brilliant afternoon of fun, fantastic food, and finding a fabulous new friend! We’ll definitely be back! #kingdomofkerrygreenways #countykerry #visitireland #ETravel #TrustFord #FordCapri #GreenwayAdventure #DiscoverKerry #VisitTralee #Listowel #Fenit #GourmetBoys #Tralee #Listowel

What a gem 💎 of a place, such exquisite food, wonderful staff and lovely ambience. We had lunch here, the squash soup was superb and the dessert an absolute treat. All served with a smile. Lovely size pots of tea too, like in the good old days ❤️ We will definitely be back.

This place is normally closed on a Sunday but advertised brunch from 10am too 2pm today. Was extremely disappointed when went after 12 and was told breakfast was finished and lunch had started as was more interested in the breakfast options. When questioned the brunch advertised was told that the lunch menu was brunch? Definition of brunch Brunch is a meal that combines elements of breakfast and lunch, typically served between late morning and early afternoon, often from around 10 AM to 2 PM So really this was a false advertisement. Disappointing.

Excellent lunches usually but i was shocked by attitude when after i paid, for a lunch didn't eat I later brought to their attention that the vegetable curry had only spinach and chic peas. . 'The passive aggressive attitude of.the proprieter means I won't be going back. . , .'.,, ' '., 🐑

18/04/2025: An absolute gem, couldn’t find fault. Steak was perfect, accommodation spotlessly clean and personal service that is very rare. Shall be returning.
12/03/2025: The food is amazing. Far above my expectations. Staff is very attentive. " Phil " made us feel very special . His interactiveness added to the homely atmosphere 😀 We'll visit again when next in the area.

10/04/2025: We were here for dinner around 6:15 p.m. Thursday. There was a reduced menu with an early bird offer, two of the main courses listed for the total price 29 euros. We ordered the burger menu twice and two Guinnesses. The food was good and also plentiful. Unfortunately the beer was too warm, which is something I don't know from Ireland. When we billed, we only noticed later that we had been charged the regular price of 39 euros instead of the offer price of 29 euros. I didn't think it was ok, especially since you couldn't choose from the entire menu.
09/03/2025: Proper chips for takeaway for a special treat or birthday but chips once a bit undercooked and al dente so a bit flaccid and not crispy. Chicken burger delicious. Takeaway roast dinner options a great option especially for older family members.
