L'Officina by Dunne & Crescenzi in Kildare

Temple Bar in Kildare. Nice place, good service, food - with the price and portion size & the quality it's doesn't add up. New Chef 🤔? ... ....Update: They are closed for good, now it makes sence...

The food was fantastic at this restaurant! The service was but there were some personal that were a little rude. The atmosphere was pretty well with a flavour of Italian here and there.

Had a really delicious sandwich in the cafe adjacent to the main Dunne and Crescenzi restaurant. The only thing that let's it down is that the coffee was served in a takeaway cup even though we are sit it - seating space is limited too, although to be fair there is plenty next door in the more expensive restaurant. The cannoli was top notch 🤤 I'd eat here again if I was in Kildare Village.

We were sat quickly and our order was taken efficiently. The decor and ambience were warm and comfortable. Food arrived and orders were correct. 2 of our party of 3 ordered the spaghetti bolognese but served with Rigatoni instead of spaghetti. The portions delivered were way smaller than the portions we saw being delivered to other tables. The rigatoni was undercooked ( harder than al dente). Noone came to check on us to see how the food was and if everything came out right.. though it wasn’t that busy. We intended to have dessert but decided against it after the dinner experience. Disappointed with the lack of service and inconsistent portion sizes.

We went here a while back when they were doing a deal for family pasta, a tiramisu to share and a drink. Couldn't fault the food or the service, a really nice restaurant to stop off when shopping for something to eat.

Arrived here before going on a shopping spree for breakfast and have to say the food was amazing. I couldn't fault it at all.

Good food, good service, good value

Great spot if you want a quality meal while shopping, the space feels relaxed and clean, easy to enjoy your meal.

Excellent basque cheesecake with berry sauce - Ive been on the hunt for a basque cheesecake forever! Nice atmosphere and decor. Generous portion size. Only complaint: the service although very quick, two waiters who served us I wouldn’t describe as friendly! They slammed down our coffees and food on the table and rushed away. Other than that, I cant complain.
