We go here from time to time as a family and it’s always a nice experience. The atmosphere is relaxed, the food is consistently good, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Our daughter really enjoys it too, which makes it an easy place for us to come back to.

Went here last week while on a stopover in Cork. The lady at reception was exceptional and squeezed us in earlier than our booking. A freezing cold rainy day in Cork but the restaurant was toasty. The buffalo wings were exceptional as was the pizza. Service was top notch. Restaurant was spotless. Brilliant!

I heard that the Japanese had gotten into beef farming and being the great people that they are improved the process, so I was exicted to try one of their wagu burgers. I was left thinking that it is immoral for Europeans and Russians and chinese and Americans to position for dominance in a world with the Japanese in it. They improve on every process they touch, all the others do is extract value and that is a perfect segway back to talking about Luigi Malones they have improved the process, they have upped the game all at an affordable price in a place in Cork city close to the station that strategically should have more restaurants and cafés, they are setting the standard and setting it high. Go and enjoy

Beautiful restaurant located in the heart of the city center. Accessible from everywhere. Service is excellent. The dining is cosy. The food is very good. The price is pretty standard for such restaurant.

They were able to sweeze us in although full. Lovely staff. Very convenient when going to Opera house. Great food. Jad pizza and fajitas, both were delicious.

Took a large (and late) booking at very late notice. They were very accommodating from the off. Fast and friendly service. Food was delish. No rotisserie but was clear on menu as limited and we did sit late. All different types of food and everyone really enjoyed. Decent sized portions too. I do admit having had food envy when I saw the chicken fajitas. Loked smelt abd tasted amazing (I had a taster...). Great food, service and atmosphere. Would highly recommend

Franciscan Well Brewery

03/03/2026: We visited the Franciscan Well with friends over the weekend while they were visiting from the UK. The Brewery tour we booked was interesting and the lady that explained everything to us was really informative (I can't remember her name but she was from Kerry !) The beer samples went down a treat and obviously we ordered a few more pints following the tour...the stout went down very well...!!! There is a great choice of Craft Beers available as well as the Stout.! The Pompeii Pizzas which are freshly made on site, are amazing, and the choice of toppings were very enticing....!! We ordered a mix of different pizzas, and we all said they were some of the best we have had, so fair play to the pizza team there..!! The setting is very nice with a cosy bar inside and a great seating area outside with heaters available for cold days..!! All the staff were very friendly with great customer service all round..!! We highly recommend the Franciscan Well Bar...put this on your list of "must do's" when in Cork...⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
