Luigi Malones in Cork

Beautiful food, best chicken wings I've ever had followed by the lamb. The only thing that let it down was the service was very poor and slow and it left me with a cold main course as it sat in the kitchen for a bit of time before coming out. However I would not let this stop me from going back as I can only imagine this is a once off.

Came here with friends to celebrate my 18th and we had such a great time! 🌟 I had the Cashew Tofu Stir Fry, which was full of flavour with perfectly cooked veggies, and the Toblerone cheesecake, delicious! The staff were amazing and made the evening extra special by bringing out the cheesecake with a candle and singing happy birthday. It was so kind of them to take the cheesecake off the bill. Thanks for helping make my birthday dinner so memorable! 💛

Massively improved from a few years ago. Food was great. Big portions. Our waitress was excellent.

Luigi Malones is a fantastic spot with delicious food and warm, friendly service. The cauliflower wings, buffalo wings, and cashew-tofu stir-fry with rice were all outstanding. Dessert and lunch options are impressive, and the mocktails — especially Strawberry Fields — are a treat. Overall, an amazing experience with a lovely, welcoming hostess.

Italian way: the meal has two courses: (1) a taster; (2) the main course. It includes a glass of water or soft drinks. And the price is very reasonable.

This place was fabulous, the food, service and atmosphere! We are both gluten free and there was loads of choice ☺️

If you’re looking for a quick, cheap and cheerful meal in Cork city centre, this ain’t a bad place. Food was ok, service was good.

Feeling nostalgic we went to Luigi Malones on my visit home. Food was ok- cannot moan too much- service was abysmal! Maybe unfair as our second waitress was really friendly and polite and nice but was really only collecting the plates after. Our first waitress was rude. We did ask for a burger to be served in lettuce rather than bun if possible- this wasn’t available (which we were ordering slightly off menu we can understand) but it was quite abrupt- maybe we were in a funny mood as it was the day after my fathers funeral and it was just me, mum brother and our two wives who didn’t fancy cooking. However what really peed me off is my mum asked for salad dressing for her salad- she was informed it was already on- mum asked could she please have some more- waitress said there is some on it- mum asked again could she have some more of the dressing- waitress then asked what dressing you want, vinegar or dressing- mum said the one that is already on it! Off the waitress went and another waitress brought the dressing out! We didn’t see our original waitress again. Food was good and we enjoyed the food but the service put a real downer on the meal.
