Lukers bar in Shannonbridge

Absolutely wonderful service, excellent food and atmosphere second to none! Highly recommended!!

A special shout out to Lukers Bar and staff, who accommodated my wife and myself with amazing photos for our wedding day(last minute, as the weather turned south) by the old bar and surroundings. John joe, Eanna and Co, couldn't have been more accommodating. The food, music and drink on our day 2 celebrations was phenomenal. Thanks very much lads. Gents

We had a lovely evening here. We loved the atmosphere of the old bar and the view of the Shannon. Our food was excellent, and I was very happy to see a homemade dessert instead of the bought in frozen offerings so many restaurants use these days.

Our experience at Luckers was absolutely incredible. During our houseboating trip, we were blown away by every dish and drink we tried. It’s clear they put a lot of thought into their menu, as the food was simply outstanding(especially the pork belly!). You could really taste the chef’s expertise in every bite. The entire staff was wonderfully friendly, making sure we had a stress-free and enjoyable time. We genuinely felt like we could stay there forever. A big thank you to everyone - from the chef to the delightful waiter who served us, and the owner - for making our evening so special!

Food was amazing, reasonable price. Dessert was a bit disappointing. Staff is extremely kind and friendly. However, they should have a baby changing table in the toilets. There’s enough room for that, and would be super helpful for parents.

We stopped by chance, very kind owner and good food. The fish and chips were crunchy and tasty, something I haven't found elsewhere in my Irish experience so far. The old part of the pub from 1750 is beautiful and was closed in October but they let us visit it. It's worth stopping by if you stop at the monastery on your way to Galway!

Fantastic atmosphere. Lovely food. Wonderful team. Highly recommended if you are passing through Shannonbridge.

On way home to portarlington from co clare feeling pretty hungry ..got parking outside Lukers and was seated with a nice view of the Shannon River..we were served by a very friendly young lady of the most enjoyable meal of good old fish and chips and a few drinks both myself and my wife were well and truly impressed with the quality and value and loved the relaxed atmosphere in Lukers..must visit again soon highly recommended

Myself and my partner stopped here twice on our river cruise. What can I say..: friendly staff, beautiful setting, fabulous food. The owner (or the old man as he was called on another review and he made us laugh so much with his reaction) was so welcoming and hilarious ! The bar staff couldn’t do enough and the vibe is great. The old bar is amazing to walk around. The steak was excellent with lots of sides and generous portions. Can’t wait to come back here !!!
