Lyrath Estate Hotel in

Had a brilliant stay in the Lyrath Hotel for my girlfriend’s birthday. The hotel has so much character and the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious with lovely green views. We took a walk down by the lake and it was spectacular, seeing herons and swans by the water. They do have a Falconry, which I would definitely do next time! I booked The Grill restaurant for food and the food was easily some of the nicest, (if not the nicest) food I’ve ever had on a night away. We had the beef fillet with chips and tender-stem broccoli and it was absolutely unbelievable. Would definitely recommend a stay in here even if just for one night to relax, have some good food and enjoy a bit of music with a drink. Would love to come back here in the future.

Such a beautiful hotel! Rooms are lovely and the food is amazing. The staff are so friendly, helpful and cannot do enough for you. The grounds of the hotel are gorgeous. I would highly recommend the spa, it's so relaxing and the pool has a great view over the gardens. I have stayed here twice now and each stay has been outstanding. Would highly recommend.

Flawless service and wonderful food. Only a few minutes away from Kilkenny town, but tucked away in a peaceful area with beautiful scenery.

I must come back. Perfect, PERFECT hotel and stay. The bedroom was spacious and cozy. The bed was ridiculously comfortable. The staff was so polite, friendly and smiley. The food was to die for. I have to come back, I already miss it! A gem, a destination in itself.

Stayed here over February mid term for a little R&R with my daughter and we really loved it. The hotel is beautiful, staff are very polite and helpful, food was delicious.

Excellent stay, fabulous location a short distance from Kilkenny City. The food and service in both the Eden and Bar bistro f For dinner was amazing. Sean, the Operations Manager was very attentive and welcoming . Thank you for a lovely stay.
