We had a lovely time there, everything was great except the spa. As a guest to the hotel i feel it was not fair price. We booked our time to use the spa. We were never told it would be 50euros per person. Normally we pay 20 euros per person other places including 5 star hotels. That's was the only let down. And the spa area was so small way over price.

We stayed here almost a year ago and I still remember every detail so fondly. We were with an infant and toddler and the staff was so kind and helpful! Breakfast was awesome and they had a lot of vegan options. I loved the decor and the countryside surrounding us. Will definitely come back when we visit Ireland next!

Such a beautiful hotel! Rooms are lovely and the food is amazing. The staff are so friendly, helpful and cannot do enough for you. The grounds of the hotel are gorgeous. I would highly recommend the spa, it's so relaxing and the pool has a great view over the gardens. I have stayed here twice now and each stay has been outstanding. Would highly recommend.

Had a brilliant stay in the Lyrath Hotel for my girlfriend’s birthday. The hotel has so much character and the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious with lovely green views. We took a walk down by the lake and it was spectacular, seeing herons and swans by the water. They do have a Falconry, which I would definitely do next time! I booked The Grill restaurant for food and the food was easily some of the nicest, (if not the nicest) food I’ve ever had on a night away. We had the beef fillet with chips and tender-stem broccoli and it was absolutely unbelievable. Would definitely recommend a stay in here even if just for one night to relax, have some good food and enjoy a bit of music with a drink. Would love to come back here in the future.

Flawless service and wonderful food. Only a few minutes away from Kilkenny town, but tucked away in a peaceful area with beautiful scenery.
