Lyrath Estate Hotel in

I would highly recommend Lyrath Estate for a wonderful stay. We stayed in the Manor and the room was gorgeous. The food was so tasty and the thermal suites so relaxing. The staff were fantastic making sure we were well looked after. A special mention and thank you must go to Dermot on Concierge. If only every hotel in Ireland had a Dermot!

visited years ago & liked it. Thought it would be a bit jaded/ tired but I was very pleasantly surprised 👍😊 Staff were very nice, food was fab & the pool lovely 😊👏

We loved our Valentines day stay at the Lyrath! Its in such a good location just a few minutes away from Kilkenny city so nice to get away in a quieter area. Our room was really nice the bathroom was huge the only downside to the room was it was very hot at night and we couldn’t control the temperature,we had to sleep with the windows open during February.Also the drainage system is old and when the bath was draining some water came up from the shower drain with black bits which had a pungent smell which wasn’t nice and the shower had some tiles coming off. The bar area was really classy and it is so cute that you are greeted by Murphy the golden retriever at the entrance of the lobby! The style of the hotel is very in keeping with the rooms and classic,we didn’t have any dinner at the hotel as we went into the city.

Lovely place. Had dinner their one of the nights it was nice. The grill bar is a nice venue to eat. Good range for breakfast as you would expect. Big shout to the Young lady Barista at the coffee Dock. Beautiful smile very present and does a lovely coffee.

I can't rate the rooms as we only visited for drinks and relaxation, not staying over night. It is an impressive building, mixing old luxury with modern convenience and style. Really pretty and lot of thought has gone into comfort of guests- from covered pathway from parking to the hotel , so the guests are protected from weather, to fully outfitted inside with couches, decor and impressive views. Staff was friendly, very respectful and accommodating. Lovely place.
