This a a beautiful hotel set in wonderful groundsclose to Kilkenny City. The service is excellent and the food was very good, it's also worth noting that the price is reasonable particularly when compared to hotels in the city itself.

Lyrath estate is a lovely Irish estates. There are beautiful grounds and trails for morning and evening walks, several options onsite for dining and drinks. The rooms are typical size but closet space and drawer space is very limited especially if you’re staying more than a few nights. The staff is warm and attentive, we especially enjoyed the live music in the lobby.

Back again, as they say if it's not broken don't fix it! Location beautiful and peaceful. Food outstanding, definitely recommend the fillet steak. Breakfast, you'll be spoilt for choice. Staff exceptional 👏. Spa is just one of the best I've ever been to. Went for Indian Head massage for 1st time thinking it was just Head but Anne Marie my therapist was amazing, back, arm, pectoral massage as well as head. Floated out of there.

We stayed Fri-Sat-Sun at the beginning of May for a big family wedding. The Hotel, staff & setting made it a a most enjoyable & memorable occasion.

Faithlegg House Hotel

15/05/2026: Lovely 2 night stay DBB. Beautiful room in main house with a view of the grounds. Dinner & breakfast were delicious. Staff very helpful & friendly especially in the dining room. Disappointed that thermal suite / jacuzzi was not available due to renovation. Really enjoyed our stay, would recommend without hesitation.
10/05/2026: We stayed one night after visiting Waterford. Faithlegg is a very classy hotel. While we did not eat there, we had great service at the bar and a very good breakfast the following day. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

05/05/2026: Food was delicious. We'd a carvery dinner but unfortunately the short haired woman serving was totally ignorant, rude & very bad mannered. Waited over 5 minutes to be served our meat by her while she was very rude & obnoxious to other staff members. This was at lunchtime on Friday 24th of April so easy to find out who my post regards too. All other staff seem very capable of doing there job but a bit more clearing of tables & clearing them wouldn't go a miss. Food was very nice & decent size too.
04/05/2026: In the stress of the morning airport rush, Aleksandra was a welcoming and helpful sight! Thank you for being lovely and helpful. The food and seating area was also very nice
