Beautifully maintained garden, grounds and building with a fascinating history. Don’t skip the tea rooms and cafe; the food is scrumptious!

We loved the gift shop and gardens. The few rooms in the house that you see were nice, however, it was a bit of a disappointment for how large the house is that you only get to see a few rooms. The tour guide was knowledgable. And enjoyed him.

Very beautiful. The entrance fee includes access to the gardens, abbey, and church. It's far from everything, but it's worth the trip.

Beautiful view with enormous lake! Looks like a haunted mansion when the weather is rainy. The park is gorgeous, with many little rivers and little water falls. Huge ancient trees with heather around. Inside it is an interactive museum. Maybe it would be great if it could be left as a more authentic, even old place, not that much restored, maybe. But it was given to benedictine nuns as an Abbey. Maybe it was rehabilitated even in that time.

Wonderful afternoon at Kylemore. We enjoyed the history talk and wandering the gorgeous grounds. Connemara was one of favourite spots on our trip.

A very beautiful and well-maintained complex, friendly staff, and plenty to explore. In my opinion, the prices in the shop and the "restaurant" were very high. I thought I'd only be able to buy local products there, but unfortunately, "Made in China" was also present in many areas. Well, commercialism has certainly taken over everywhere. 100g of chocolate for €6 is quite steep, and a slice of cake for €6.40... well, let's just say it's not worth it. But everyone has to decide that for themselves. The entire complex, including the garden, is definitely worth a visit.

I visited on a Monday around noon. The interior of the Abbey was interesting, with some fun historical information, but the grounds were my favorite part of the visit. I wish we had had more time - 1.5 hours was not enough, I recommend 2 to 3 hours to fully explore the Abbey and grounds. The shuttle to the formal garden supposedly ran every 15 minutes, but did not pass us when we walked down to the garden and (later) back. The walk is about 15 to 20 minutes each way.
