I’m only in Kildare 6 years and have tried every chipper from newbridge to portarlington. I always come back to Macari’s Kildare town (both) The staff are so nice and the food is always soooo nice. I will continue to be a loyal customer of these guys

This place is right in the center of town, so it’s easy to get to. We had the doner kebab, spice box, and a milkshake. The milkshake was actually pretty good, the kebab was alright, but the spice box didn’t really live up to the hype. Overall, it was an okay experience.

26/12/2025: Arrrrgh god this is a good place. Great great value for money. Big fillings, great kick to the blackened chicken. They aren’t afraid.. great quick efficient service like a factory line. Seating can get packed so be prepared to get a takeaway. Didn’t have to wait 35+ minutes unlike some places.. great place all round. Great value for money. Better bowls than boojum and way healthier. Keep up the great work. PS. BYOS (bring your own spoons) other than that sweet as
19/12/2025: I had the Middle Eastern wrap it was amazing. My wife had the taco bowl and it was equally as nice. Recommended. Nice to have a place like this in Kildare.
