Drinking an Irish Coffee in Ireland seems obvious! But in the end it's complicated and luckily we stumbled upon Maddens who welcomed us very late and allowed us to taste this delicious "drink".

Had lunch here last week have not been in a while and was a bit disappointed the lunch menu is not great, its really clean with nice staff but lunch menu was not great.

O'Cees Coffee Shop

21/06/2025: Disappointed with the breakfast today - both the full Irish and Avocado toast 😔 But this is the first time we came for more than coffee and cake so maybe hit a bad day!

05/06/2025: This is now a regular point during our pilgrimage to Achill and Westport. Dimple cakes tea and great lunches. Good fayre.
