A fine Dublin pub. Beautiful decor from an era where the took pride in going the extra mile for beauty. Lovely pint of Guinness. Serves food. Friendly attentive staff.

Holy cow, what great service and food! Easily the best meal we’ve had in all of Ireland. Don’t second guess yourself, get the beef stew, nothing compares! It was amazing. We’ve been to several local pubs and this has been the best by far!

16/03/2026: I went to eat alone. I was greeted warmly and immediately seated. The service was very friendly. My drink and food arrived quickly. The food was delicious. I had the classic fish and chips. I was satisfied and would definitely recommend it.
15/03/2026: The fish and chips were excellent. The decor is very tasteful, with several areas offering different atmospheres.

21/03/2026: I ate at this restaurant with a friend yesterday evening. The food was absolutely delicious, but such a pity about the rudeness of the waitress/manager on the upper floor.
14/03/2026: Nothing but praise for this restaurant. I had the best meal I have ever had in Ireland, having lived here 20yrs now. We loved the John Dory sharing plate in seafood bisque! Also, the service is delightful. Every waiter was equally charming, a rare surprise these days. This is now officially my favourite restaurant in Ireland!
