Madigans in Dublin

It was our first ever trip to Ireland and this was the highlight of our trip. The people who work here are so incredibly lovely. We felt like in a home away from home. And the food was great too!

A great city center bar. Top class service and drink in a comfortable and safe bar. Well done all.

The portions were far too big, huge! Most people couldn’t finish their meal, leaving a third to a half their meal uneaten. This is a waste of food.

We had a few pints of Guinness and ended up not eating, but we would have gladly done so, as they were bringing out dishes to other tables that looked delicious. The Guinness was very good and the service was impeccable; everyone was very friendly and welcoming. The owner (I wish I could remember his name) asked us where we were from, and we struck up a conversation. He told us about his hobby of collecting cars and Lego sets, which numbered over 50,000. It was a fun anecdote that made for a pleasant time with the Dubliners.

This is spot on! The food and drink was delicious and served with a smile! Super cozy traditional pub atmosphere. Swedes, if you want to have a beer or eat good well-cooked food I really recommend this. No tourist trap!

We didn't eat there, only had drinks. Nice bartender, tasty beer, and beautiful old art decor style.

Great location right in the city. Traditional dishes. There's something for children too. A lovely place to end the evening.

Had such a lovely last night in Dublin. Wandered into Madigans for one final drink and stew and it was all we could have asked for. The staff was attentive and friendly, locals galore and the venue was cozy and beautiful.
