Great place to grab a bite to eat and a cold pint to drink. The beef stew was the highlight but they have great alternative options.

Jacquie is the most amazing server. She is so funny, smart, and kind. Also shout outs to Dave and Gerry. The beef roast is fantastic, the burger always great, fish and chips better that Burdocks (I said what I said). The right amount of locals to tourists. Love the experience of the Romanis out front and having a beer can tossed at my head. True Dublin!

Bastible

18/01/2026: We had a lovely lunch at Bastible and the food was delicious. The portions however were really small (even for a tasting menu) and we unfortunately left hungry. We did enjoy our experience but it would be good if the staff didn’t rush you out - they took our final plates away and replaced it immediately with the bill and card reader which felt a little inhospitable for a Michelin restaurant. We found somewhere else for a coffee afterwards! Would still recommend for taste of the food.
12/01/2026: Incredible food and brilliant service. Thoroughly enjoyed all the dishes we were given, especially the venison and scallops.

25/01/2026: Exceptional food. Can’t believe I never went here before but I thought the food was outstanding. Starters were delicious and beautifully presented. We had venison and the halibut for mains. Both excellent. Will be back again!
21/01/2026: An absolutely wonderful place. From the moment you arrive the atmosphere is wonderful and food and service amazing - on my list to visit again next time in Dublin!
