Maldron Hotel Shandon Cork City in Cork

My stay was very pleasant with wonderful staff welcoming me with open arms when I arrived. I was provided with professional service and relevant information about the hotel amenities, including the different menus on offer that week when I checked-in. A special thank you to the receptionists Eva and Maria who made an extra effort to make my stay as enjoyable as possible. I work in hospitality and study the industry in college so I understand the complexities of managing customer expectations, but I must say, the staff did a great job at accommodating me. My only criticism would be the overall cleanliness of the carpets in the corridors. I do however understand that there was a large group of young kids who must have been staying in the hotel for some competition, so the mess in the hallways may have only been a result of them. Overall, I recommend this hotel and can see myself booking another stay there again.

It has everything a 4-star hotel can offer except for the service provided by some workers, it even seems like they are bosses. There is always a black sheep in the flock, but that is not what puts this hotel behind others, but rather its location, but nothing major changes. This hotel is good and recommended.

from the first day i have been here in the gym and Pool. I was training in the gym! The Swimming Pool is great and perfect and i feel relaxed after work! The staff are all very friendly and very approachable with me thank you 🤗♥️

Maria was amazing! She made our stay perfect. Couldnt of asked for a better person to help :) an angel!!!

Overall, it's not bad. But not all reception staff are friendly and polite.

The hotel is in the perfect location for the city area. Hotel is beautiful but there is an issue with the heating system. The rads were only luke warm

Been In this fine establishment with work and have found the Hotel to be fabulous, The Staff are genuinely Helpful &and the Food is excellent, and iv eaten the whole menu . Hotel is so Nice I brought my Wife for the weekend and She agreed Fabulous Staff Fabulous Food , and a n amazingly comfortable and Clean Hotel with Brilliant leisure center that welcomes You , Thank You to all involved with the running and Cooking and Managing a Brilliant Hotel in a very central part of the Beutiful Cork . Thanks were coming back for Paddy's weekend

Full of travellers when got there. Which is disappointing. But I have stayed in this hotel many times. And have to say it's great. Brilliant location. Amazing actually, location wise. Good stay, decent breakfast. Rooms are good to. Hope they don't start letting them lot in tho.

We stayed here for my hen party. We had a great weekend and the staff were always friendly and helpful. It's a great location and only a short walk to the shops.
