Great food, service and atmosphere.

If you’re in Wexford, Mary Barry’s Bar is a must-visit! Their seafood is absolutely top-notch, with the chowder being one of the best I’ve had. Portions are generous, making it great value for money. Service was excellent, with a special mention to Megan for perfectly timing the arrival of our food. The rest of the staff were just as friendly and welcoming. It’s no surprise the place was packed when we arrived! If you’re looking for top-quality seafood and a fantastic atmosphere in Wexford, this is the place to be. Highly recommend!

I heard a lot about this restaurant,so I decided to try it,I.The restaurant is lovely there is a really nice ambiance to it ,lots of little sections all decorated with a nautical theme.It was really busy the day we went,but we got a table ok.The staff were extremely nice and pleasant ,They gave us lots of time to view the menus took a drinks order,I ordered scallops my partner ordered a burger ,another got a pasta and there was also a platter on it,The food came out far too quickly ,it seemed as if it had been just put in a microwave, The scallops were like rubber really over cooked and the black pudding was like leather,the other dishes were nice but all the chips were atrocious .its a shame because it’s such a nice place ,maybe they were busy,The portions are very generous,but I would have preferred a smaller portion and succulent scallops.

Make sure you book in advance. We were collected and dropped off to this venue. From the start, the staff were friendly and engaging. A venue to keep anyone happy, with lots of choice. The food was excellent quality, well prepared and presented and full of wonderful flavour. This consistency of staff and food comes from training and good produce and this costs money. This is the trade-off - and worth every penny. I will be back and have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant.
