Miss my train call into this beautiful pub out of the rain for a few relaxing pint owner was so friendly and welcoming 10 out of 10 will stop in again 😀

On a flying visit to Athy, stopped here for a quick pint after passing several closed establishments. Landed on our feet as it turned out. Everything you could hope for from an Irish bar. Nice pint, friendly staff and welcoming clientele. Irish hospitality lives!

24/03/2024: Staff was great! Had an excellent Chai Latte. The coffee shop was comfortable with plenty of seating. Lovely place to spend a cozy hour reading!

The Auld Shebeen Bar Athy

31/03/2024: Upon arrival the surrounding derelict buildings are a bit off putting ( not their fault) but once inside the accommodation was excellent, the food was delicious and the staff more than helpful, not suitable for people with mobility issues as you have to climb a couple of flights of stairs to access the accommodation and their is some road noise at night because it is adjacent to the main street of the town.
26/03/2024: Great place, I will definitely visit more often.
