Nice cafe with pleasant atmosphere, good coffee and scones. Slightly irritated by the flickering exit sign and the slamming door but maybe I’m a bit too OCD.

I enjoyed my lunch so much that I went back the next day for breakfast. Soup and a sandwich, a basic choice for me, but it was very good. Porridge with honey and fruit. The waitresses were very polite and welcoming.

I have been going regularly here for the last 2-3 yrs and you can’t fault the waitresses especially Maisy, Roisin and Shannon in that order 😉. They are very attentive to their customers and always offer them side salad with meal and cream with cake. I was away for nearly a yr and when I came back they still offered my personalised J mug. A more personal service you couldn’t get in the world.

13/10/2025: This is a dated hotel which has modernised parts of the hotel and in my opinion the most important parts. So the bedding is fabulous, TV is state of the art, the breakfast is delicious and plentiful, staff are very helpful and the hotel couldnt be more central. It's a great place for a weekend.

Crew's Steak & Seafood Restaurant

13/10/2025: You can not help not being impressed with this beautifully restored building where every element is tastefully done and finished to a very high standard. The late check-in option worked perfectly and the bedrooms although a little on the small side had everything you needed and were immaculately presented Roisin was very welcoming, super helpful and nothing was to much trouble. Fantastic breakfast, continental with a few hot breakfast specials and able to cater for a coeliac member of a party Highly recomend
19/08/2025: Perfect location for central Dungarvan, plus free parking just outside. Lovely staff (especially Roisin). Nice breakfast. Rooms on the small side but fine for a few days. We will be back.
