Mermaid Chinese in Bantry legal town

04/10/2025: The negative reviews are amusing - maybe show up at a reasonable time instead of 9pm close to closing time? Anyway, the food was quite good and a welcome change from the Irish cuisine everywhere else. Friendly service and BYOB made for an enjoyable dining experience. Can’t speak to the takeaway issues people are complaining about, but maybe go sit down and enjoy a coursed-out meal rather than judging on taking things in a box back home?

06/09/2025: Superb experience. Great staff: friendly, attentive, uncomplicated. The food was fast, delicious and fresh tasting.
