Lovely place with helpful staff. Limited menu but food was very nice. They were flexible in altering some of the mains options on the menu. We would go again!

Amazing hospitality from the staff, the food was delicious. Let us stay over for the night in our camper van in their large car park. Will certainly visit again when we are in the area.

Everything is good here. Nice homemade food and very good service. Nice atmosphere and decor in the restaurant/dining room. Nice bar/ lounge in the front. Chinese and Asian cuisine available also. Good value drink and desserts. Plenty of parking.

Teresa, great food, great service, friendly atmosphere, we will be back !! A real windmill for a backdrop ! A walk on Carne beach and then over to Myler's for glorious food ... beat that.

Had a good pint with a fantastic burger,chips,green leaf salad and coleslaw and a glass of wine for less than 30€ Brilliant service from Threasa and her hard working staff THANK YOU 😀

Smuggler’s Inn

12/03/2025: Attended the sauna area on the weekend of February 3rd 2025, we were greeted by the really friendly owner who allowed us to access the area ahead of our appointment time, it was fantastic, lovely changing and relaxing area with such great views, the hot tub, sauna and ice bath were all included in the cost which was really reasonable. Really enjoyed our time here.

Sweeney's Strand Bar

03/11/2024: We have been here numerous times over summer months, the best open crab on brown bread with a tasty pomegranate side salad with a creamy glass of Guinness, overlooking Omey Island. Enjoy lunch and a walk afterwards on the beach at low tide.
19/10/2024: People were a bit stiff in the bar. Coffee was really not good.
