Food was a 10/10 loved the staff & the Chef was so nice! You can literally see, that he does his job with his whole heart. Would totally come back.

The restaurant has an old charm that makes it stand out. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, they went out of their way to accommodate things for us. The food was great both the salmon and ribeye were cooked well and flavorful. Whenever I visit Dublin again I will be back!

A family of two adults and two children, each of us having different dishes, all absolutely beautiful, especially the stew. We were seated right next to the open kitchen and we had lovely interactions with the chef and his staff. The camaraderie between them was so nice to see in a kitchen. All waiting staff were also lovely people, so good at their job. The decor was very interesting. Overall, we loved it and will recommend to others and return ourselves. Thank you all kindly.

From the elegant stone walls and warm wood accents to the ambient lighting and cozy atmosphere, the setting is both timeless and comfortable, perfect for a special family occasion. We celebrated Father's Day there with three generations at the table, including my dad and son who are both coeliac, and I can confidently say the experience was outstanding from start to finish. What truly sets Millstone apart—beyond its beautiful decor and central location—is the exceptional hospitality. The staff were not just attentive, they were genuinely warm and eager to accommodate every request. It felt like they took pride in making our visit memorable, and they succeeded. One of the standout aspects for us was Millstone’s dedicated coeliac menu. It is a rare and wonderful thing to find a restaurant that takes dietary restrictions so seriously while still delivering an impressive culinary experience. The gluten-free options were varied, delicious and clearly crafted with care, not just as afterthoughts. My dad and son both had plenty to choose from and were delighted by the quality and flavour of every dish. It's not every day you find a place where being gluten-free feels like an upgrade rather than a limitation. As for the food—wow. Every bite was bursting with flavour, beautifully presented and surprisingly affordable given the quality. We shared a selection of starters, each more impressive than the last, and the mains were nothing short of sublime. The steaks were cooked to perfection, the fish was fresh and flaky, and the sauces tied everything together flawlessly. Desserts were indulgent and gluten-free without compromising taste or texture, which is no small feat. In a city full of dining options, Millstone stands out as a place that genuinely cares, not just about the food, but about the people it serves. It’s rare to find a restaurant that blends tradition, affordability, quality and inclusivity so seamlessly. We left full, happy and already planning our next visit.

Restaurant bien situé dans le centre touristique de Dublin. Cuisine correct mais sans surprise. Ce jour là, j'ai goûté le seafood chowder, le fish & chips et crème brûlée en dessert. Rien de mauvais, mais rien d'exceptionnel non plus

Definitely the best place I've been to in Dublin. The pinnacle of Dublin in terms of taste, service and atmosphere. The service was excellent, the staff were friendly and very helpful. If you want to eat in Dublin, this should be your first choice.

I first visited this restaurant three years ago and have been looking forward to returning ever since. This time, I came with a group of colleagues—and once again, it did not disappoint. One of the standout features is their dedicated gluten-free set menu, which is actually more affordable than the regular menu. It’s refreshing to see a place that doesn’t penalize you for dietary restrictions—in fact, they make you feel welcome and accommodated. The service was excellent. Every member of the team was warm and attentive, and a special shoutout goes to Isabelli, who took wonderful care of us throughout the evening. Her friendly smile and thoughtful attention made the experience even better. I went for the set menu, starting with the chowder and followed by the lamb shank. Both dishes were packed with flavour. The chowder was especially memorable, topped with a touch of caviar that gave it a luxurious finish. Highly recommended—I'll definitely be back again.

Tuvimos una cena encantadora aquí! Soy celíaco e intolerante a la lactosa. Eran tan buenos. El personal de camareros era muy bien informado. Tenía un menú separado sin gluten. Muy buena relación calidad-precio. Tengo pescado con papas fritas. Las otras fotos fueron comidas de mis hermanas (no tienen alergias) y realmente disfrutaron también.
