A truly wonderful experience. Food was beautiful, cocktails were delicious & service was great. Couldn't recommend this more. We were also surprised when one of the waiting staff came to our table and offered a Polaroid of my girlfriend and I for her birthday! A brilliant touch!

I’ll start by mentioning that you absolutely need a reservation to enjoy this dining experience.
During the planning phase (yes… I said planning phase) for our vacation to Ireland we wanted to enjoy an evening out at an “well above average” restaurant. While our list of excellent restaurants was long, we happened across Mister S. Although we booked a reservation several weeks ahead of our visit we could only secure a 4:45 dinner reservation. That was our first clue that Mister S was an excellent choice. Did I mention you need a reservation? Definitely so on a weekend.
When I first entered Mister S I was a tad taken aback by the table and booth arrangement. To tell you the truth I was not expecting booths or wall shelve seating. That being said, Mister S is a very elegantly decorated small restaurant. The seating arrangement maximizes table availability (that’s a very good thing for all of us). I would most definitely recommend this restaurant and plan on returning.
Once you are seated the experience begins. The cocktail and wine card is chocked full of awesome selections. We settled on a beautiful bottle of Tenuta Buon Tempo, Brunello Di Montalcino 2019. Michele mentioned that it was the best she had ever tasted. Wow! Also, our wine was poured into a wine decanter. Major style points!!
For Starters we chose the Burnt End Rendang Spring Rolls. Delicious. I failed to ask about the dipping sauce. Sorry. I noticed that the Grilled Prawns were a crowd favorite. Maybe next time. The Dry Aged Hereford Côte de Boeuf, Smoked Béarnaise (for 2) was simply spectacular. Grilled to perfection, every bite was delectable.
Rounding out our perfect evening was the waitstaff. Engaging, professional, and focused on making your experience… perfect.
Thank you for a wonderful evening.

The food was not what I was expecting. They were small plates with heavy sauces. There was a lot of acidity and too many flavors going on. The spring rolls were good but also very heavy with the sauce. I do not recommend this place if you want light or healthy.

Great meal, the starter, i had burnt end spring rolls and the main grilled pork were both delicious. I however found the service both when making booking and then arriving at restaurant were below expectations.

So good, I visited again as soon as humanly possible.
Honestly, there aren't many places that blow your socks off with every bite of food, every interaction with a member of staff, every delicious smell wafting from the kitchen - but this is one of them.
We visited one evening and shared a couple of starters, mains and a dessert and everything blew us away.
Some special mentions were the rendang spring rolls, which had so much flavour packed in I can't believe they weren't enormous and the pork chop, which was the best pork I've ever eaten, tender, juice and full of flavour. Absolutely incredible.
We spoke to the table next to us who said the steak was phenomenal so after our experience was so good we had to go back.
A couple of weeks later we booked the Friday lunch time special (wagyu flank steak) and it was honestly unbelievable. Without a doubt one of the best meals we've had in Dublin. The price was also really good - especially considering the quality of the food.
Overall the restaurant isn't expensive (when compared to a lot of restaurants in Dublin). It is very well priced for how good it is.
The staff were also lovely and were happy to have a quick chat while helping you with your order.
The restaurant is perfect for a date night or a small get together with some friends.
I highly recommend it. Easily in my top restaurants in Dublin and will not disappoint.
Please book in advance to avoid missing out.

We visited Mister S on a Friday lunchtime as I had not been able to secure a booking for an evening table.
We received a very friendly welcome on entering and were offered drinks and the menu including water very quickly.
We chose the octopus, spring rolls and pork to start. All were amazing!
For mains the we had the lunchtime special of steak and fries and prawns and fries. The steak was some of the tastiest steak I have ever had.
All in all a fantastic meal with excellent service and a very reasonable price.
I would highly recommend!

I came upon this delightful restaurant whilst looking on the internet ahead of a Christmas break weekend in Dublin and what an absolutely great find. The venue looks very unassuming from the outside but don't be put off by that. In fact, that adds to it as it obviously is successful by customer experience and word of mouth and not by looking big and fancy from the outside.
The place isn't very big and doesn't have a huge amount of covers, it almost feels like a place that 'if you know, you know' and you want to keep it that way.
The service was excellent throughout and the food was excellent (both scoring me some brownie points with my wife).
Whilst you are waiting you can see the kitchen in a raised area towards the back of the venue. It was clear to see that the whole team worked closely together to ensure their customers get the best experience.
I'd thoroughly recommend this restaurant for the excellent food, service and the nice relaxed ambience.
