Mister S is my most favorite restaurant in all of Dublin. They are well known for their steak, but what impresses me the most is the thought behind each dish. Every sauce, dip and dish is carefully thought out. Flavour combinations are exciting and they really consider the entire experience of the meal. For instance, prawns and crab claws are served in a way they can be eaten easily, while ensuring they are presented beautifully. Desserts change every season but are always unique and so carefully crafted. Never a boring meal here. Oh, and do make a reservation.

The food we had was delicious- including the prawns, steaks and sides. The service was good. However the requirement for each person to order two courses left a bad taste in my mouth. We were a group of 6 attending for an early dinner and would rather have shared some dishes and more drinks. We would have hit the same spend but instead felt 'forced' to have dessert and overeat. We were also asked to leave the table immediately after we paid, despite the restaurant being mostly empty , which I found a little uncomfortable. I'd come back but not with a group, due to two course minimum.

A bit of a disappointment for this restaurant, which has received rave reviews. The experience was far too inconsistent from start to finish. The tuna was good to begin with, but rather uninteresting. The main course (pork) was overly salty, and the dessert was advertised with almond... but lacked the flavor.
The only truly excellent point was the vegetable dish with celery. It was really very good! That's not much to go on :-/

This restaurant is a must do when in Dublin. The food is incredible! You have to try the spring rolls, best I’ve ever had!
All the meats for mains are incredible too, with really great service!

The food was delicious as always - I brought my friend Mark, who hadn't been and is now a convert.
I do want to give a shout out to Rebecca, the assistant manager. She was genuinely lovely - not just great service, but made us feel welcome, had the chats with us and really just made the whole experience top class.

If you enjoy meat cooked over charcoal, this place is definitely worth a visit.
All the main dishes are cooked over charcoal and wood. They also have weekly lunch specials and set menus for Christmas. We mentioned it was a birthday when booking, and they even took a Polaroid photo for us. From starters to mains and sides, every dish was great

Had a great meal at Mister S. We went at 430 on a Saturday and place was full, they were turning walk ins away so must have great reputation.
Restaurant was nice and spaced out. The kitchen is elevated and you can smell the smoke chips which was great. Also nice all bathrooms are private.
Menu was 50 EU for starter, main and dessert and definitely worth the $$. Food was excellent, started with crab claws and burnt end spring rolls then had short rib and chicken both which were great. Finished off with blackberry ice cream and panacotta.
Only drawback was that it took a bit of time to get drinks and cocktail/beer listing was pretty basic but not a huge deal.
Highly recommend and will be back again to try the steak!
