Mister S in Dublin

Had a great meal here with work colleagues. The menu may be limited but was outstanding and well worth the visit.

Visited with largish group and previously with a smaller group. Both times the food was beautifully presented and tasted fab. The service is great with friendly and enthusiastic staff. Highly recommended.

This restaurant has the potential to be a Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant. The food and service are outstanding. Our waitress was so attentive and explained the dishes to us. We ordered the chicken, pork chop, and halibut with rendang beef spring rolls and prawns to start. Everything was delicious and had such a wonderful flavor from being grilled over a wood fire. The sauces on the 3 main dishes were brilliant. So full of flavor I wanted to lick the plate! One note for the restaurant was the peach Bellini was a bit warm and lackluster in my opinion. Everything else was excellent!

Amazing food and service to match.

We had one of the nicest experiences in a restaurant that we've had in years last night. From the moment we walked in until the moment we we left we felt valued and were treated with wonderful hospitality. Nothing was a problem and we were attended to when necessary but also left alone to enjoy the wonderful food. The food we ordered was absolutely delicious.  My steak was cooked to perfection, as was the short rib. The prawn and burnt ends starters  were equally flavoursome and plentiful. The bottle of pinot noir complemented our food too! We will return again soon! Thanks everyone-special shout out to Mollie for her wonderful service.

A Masterclass in Modern Irish Cooking We were warmly greeted upon arrival with service that was genuinely cheerful and attentive. Our server asked if it was our first time (it was), and we were instantly welcomed by the subtle, mouthwatering scent wafting from the open kitchen — a smoky mix of wood and spice that set the tone perfectly. We asked for a recommendation on two glasses of rosé — and they nailed it. Both were crisp, refreshing, and paired excellently with our starters. We began with the Burnt End Rendang Spring Rolls. Just wow. Perfectly crisp, full of rich, bold flavour, and served with an incredible sauce that tied everything together. A solid 10/10. My fiancée ordered the Grilled Prawns with Smoked Garlic Butter and Vinaigrette. What arrived was a plate of juicy, plump prawns laid on toasted bread that soaked up every last drop of garlicky goodness. Absolutely delicious. Another 10/10. For the main, we shared the Dry-Aged Hereford Côte De Boeuf with Smoked Béarnaise, accompanied by Fried Potatoes with Onion Salt and Aioli and Charred Broccoli with Caesar Dressing. Every bite was exceptional. The beef was cooked exactly medium rare, tender and rich with a smoky crust. The sides elevated the dish even further — crispy potatoes with a punchy aioli, and the broccoli added balance with that umami Caesar twist. I made sure to personally ask the staff to pass on our compliments to the chefs. Everything — from the food to the timing, the presentation, and even the ambient music — was flawless. You can truly feel the passion and precision behind every plate. Now I fully understand why it’s so hard to get a table at Mister S… and I’m already planning our return visit.

Really nice early dinner, great quality food, was prompt, excellent service and good value for money

We had the most amazing dinner on Saturday night at Mister S. I had already heard great things about it before we ate there but I have to say it exceeded all expectations. The prawn dish was fabulous and as a group of 6 we shared 3 of the cote de beouf. It had a beautiful charring and tasted divine. The wines were also gorgeous although we may have had a little too much of that..oops. To add to all of that we were given wonderful service by Molly who couldn’t have been any more helpful. We will definitely return to this restaurant in the very near future.

Great food and amazing service for my dad’s 70th. Huge thanks to the team at Mister S for the memories! Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Dublin who wants some excellent food and drink
