We had a counter seat and loved our meal here. I'm coeliac and the team were amazing chatting through the menu, I was able to order from 90% of the menu and loved everything. Between us we had the black sole special, piri chicken, potatoes and hispi cabbage as well as amazing desserts (which all happened to be gluten free too!) and it was delicious. Great wine list too and the team were so friendly. Would come back!

Great steaks! They cooked the steaks just as we requested and the taste is great due to how they cook it and the quality of meat is high. I would definitely recommend the place and if you wonder what to grab as a starter both the tuna carpaccio and beef tartare are great.

Incredible food, lovely service, very reasonable for what it was. I would 100% recommend and will 100% be coming back. Had the pork, was excellent. Be warned the chicken has a bit of spice (but you can ask for the sauce on the side).

I have a ridiculous amount of food intolerances including garlic and onion (which are in almost everything) and they were really amazing about accommodating me and giving me multiple options! I did email ahead which they said helped them prepare, and they even set aside a pork chop unmarinated just in case I would want one. The food was also fantastic, especially the mousse!

What a find. Great little restaurant, if you like meat well look no further. The burnt end rendang spring rolls where amazing and the dry aged sirloin on the bone was one of the best steaks I have had and my other half had the Wagyu flank chimicurri was really really tasty and beautfully cooked. iThe staff couldn't have been more tentative or helpful. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

01/03/2026: Very classic pub. Not a dark pub, but classical and nicely lit. Good pints too. Downstairs has two sections, both excellent. Another room upstairs. It's not a music pub or a trendy bar. It's a great place to meet people and talk over a drink or two.

19/03/2026: The Trocadero is an Irish staple for food; it's been around for as long as I can remember. I don't think I've ever had a bad experience here. The food is always phenomenal, and the drinks are just as good. They have a fantastic selection of wines and cocktails. This restaurant is a family favorite; you have to call and you will see why. The staff are superb; everyone is happy to see you, and they do their utmost to please you. I look forward to the next time I can call again.
12/03/2026: The food was delicious, well prepared, the staff were friendly and efficient, the atmosphere was classic quality dining with 8x10 glossies of actors on the wall. My husband and I both had the lamb which was prepared perfectly in a reduction sauce with as side of spinach, for dessert I had the poached pear and my husband had the miso chocolate tart, both were excellent!
