Misunderstood Heron in

Food was okay but the location made up for that. Gone back a bit since last visit. No toilets available.

You can not miss out on going to this place! One of the highlights on our trip to Ireland. The yummiest and delicious food made with great quality ingredients and thought. The atmosphere of the mountains was speechless. Good coffee as well!

If you don't go you don't know what you're missing! A spectacle for the eyes and the palate. The guys are very good, their culinary offering is commendable in an enchanting setting

Stunning views, great coffee (Cloud Picker), friendly staff, inventive food. Had the very fresh and hyper-local Killary mussels, which were served in a spicy broth. Not cheap (€17) but you just can't beat the view and the vibe at Misunderstood Heron on a sunny October afternoon.

Kultiger Foodtruck der uns von unserer Unterkunft empfohlen wurde. Eine kleine Auswahl an Gerichten. Wir waren mit mehreren und haben 5 verschiedene Hauptspeisen für insg 82 Euro bestellt. Kein Schnäppchen für ne Imbissbude. Aber es war alles nicht nur super lecker und frisch sondern auch „besonders“ weil die Gerichte mal anders interpretiert wurden und z. B. anders gewürzt wurden als man es kennt. Die Aussicht über den Killary Fjord lässt das Essen direkt noch besser schmecken. Wer dran vorbei kommt sollte unbedingt halten und was essen.

Absolutely gorgeous view. Super ‘food truck’ experience. High quality food and coffee. Very friendly staff and great selection of food. We loved our stop here. I’ve just read some bad reviews and can’t understand how anyone would review it badly unless they couldn’t afford it and aren’t used to quality. Simply stunning little place!
