Momo in Waterford

Managed to avoid the lunchtime rush by pure luck, and stumbled across a gem! We were in and out within 45 minutes for lunch, sharing a falafel dish and a bbq cauliflower dish. Both were excellent, delicious vegetarian meals and good portion sizes, and didn’t break the bank either. Served us super quickly, and we went up and paid at the bar at the end too. Would recommend!

I visited here during a midweek trip to the Viking city and stumbled across Momo Restaurant. The lady at reception kindly offered me a table which I was not expecting as the restaurant was very busy. The menu is varied and there's something for everyone and ultimately I ordered the pan fried hake with mussels, green veg (broccoli and asparagus) served with a side dish of roast potato. The hake was cooked to perfection and there was a generous portion size of 2 fillets. The veg and accompanying sauce were also delicious. The potatoes deserve a place on the menu by themselves. The best roast potatoes I've ever eaten. Deliciously flavoured, crispy edges and floury inside. I ate an entire bowl of them and would honestly bo back for them alone. Occasionally I come across places like Momo who have such a love for food that it shows on every dish. Couldn't be better.

We booked Momos for a hen party and we were not disappointed. The food was very tasty, lots of options to choose from. The staff were super helpful and very friendly. Definitely book if visiting Waterford.

We ate with friends on our second night in Waterford, and went back on our own two nights later. We may never be back in Waterford, but if we ever are we hope Momo will still be in business! The food, all the dishes we tried, was just outstanding. Whoever is making the sauces in that kitchen really knows what they are doing. If you appreciate fine dining, don't miss this place.

There are plenty of vegan and veg options. Cauliflower wings and pulled "pork" made of Tempeh was delicious. Really enjoyed the food, I didn't book in advance but was accommodated - the staff was super nice too!

A must be restaurant in Waterford. Food is unbelievable. We had beef Rib and pork risotto. Absolute stunning. Can wait to come back and try the rest of the menu. Fair play to you chef!

We had a lovely evening for our staff night out. The place looks beautiful and feels very comfortable. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, perfect for a group dinner. The food was very tasty and full of flavour. The presentation was lovely. There were many choices on the menu, and everyone found something they liked. The staff were friendly and polite. They looked after us very well and helped make the night even better. It was a great experience, and I would recommend Momo to anyone looking for a good restaurant in Waterford.

Fabulous restaurant everything about this place is wonderful it's a gorgeous place inside, the staff are wonderful the food is excellent very high quality well worth a visit but I would advise that you book first. This came highly recommended by the locals. If you like good food and an interesting menu visit this restaurant. 10 out of 10

Wonderful food and incredible service - Thank You Camilla. This was my second time visiting the restaurant and it didn't disappoint . The sharing platters to start were a great choice, The vegetarian one was special and wasn't out of a series of jars, the pickled cauliflower was fab. The duck salad as a main course was very good, with wonderful different textures. The wine list is reasonable and great advice in making our choices. Looking forward to eating here again, the next time I am in Waterford
