Montenotte Bistro in Cork

Great hotel. The rooms were very comfortable and quiet. The front desk service and doorman were super friendly and very helpful. The restaurant had delicious food and drinks with great views out the balcony.

As a whole, the hotel seems very nice. Unfortunately, the bathroom in our hotel room was atrocious. Broken knobs, rusty pipes, broken tiles, filthy doors, and hair in the shower from the previous guests was unacceptable. Also, the lounge staff needs much improvement. The lounge was at 10% capacity and we still had to go to the bar to order our drinks after being ignored for 5 minutes by several empty-handed servers. I think we’ll try another hotel on our next visit to Cork.

Beautiful hotel. Welcoming staff from the moment you arrive which continues across every aspect of the hotel. Cosy, modern interior, we loved our room as well as The Terrace lounge with amazing panoramic views, the buffet style breakfast and all the spa had to offer. The unlimited accessibility to facilities that we got through our booking deal exceeded our expectations and was 10/10 value for money. Within walking distance of lovely restaurants and cocktail bars, and not too far from the city centre as well as Fota and Cobh. After having been lucky enough to stay in highly rated hotels and experience their luxuries, the Montenotte is somewhere that I would highly recommend!

The rooms were very comfortable and the location was about a 10 min drive to the city. Service was amazing and we dined at Panorama for dinner. One of our favorite meals during our trip. The hotel has great views and a heated pool.

The River Suite was amazing. Definitely a 5 star experience. We were greeted by Martin, who whisked us away to the Clubhouse upon arrival and checked us in there. He was so nice and helpful and a pleasure to chat to. He then showed us to our suite and demonstrated how various things worked. After visiting Motion leisure, we returned to our suite and prepared for our Sundowner cocktails and canapes. Phillip looked after us in the Clubhouse and was such a lovely person to chat to about the options that evening and about the hotel and life in general. We had dinner in the lovely Panorama restaurant, which was delicious, particularly as I followed Phillips recommendations. We had a couple of drinks in the Glasshouse, which were very enjoyable, and we were treated so well there, but unfortunately didn't get the names of those who served us. The following morning we had breakfast in the Clubhouse where Martha took care of us and ensured we were well fed. Overall we would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a treat.

Had a lovely stay here. Couldn’t fault anything at all. Staff very professional. From the rooms to the bars was just fantastic.

I would rate the staff as 6 out 5 for their overall service... keep up the great work ..

Un hermoso restaurante adosado con una fantástica vista sobre el puerto de Cork y los magníficos jardines de abajo, así como las nuevas "casas del árbol" que son una nueva adición al Hotel Montenotte. Con comida de primera calidad, un ambiente maravilloso y personal que va más allá para el comensal, comer en el Restaurante Terraza es una experiencia memorable. Todas las necesidades dietéticas están cubiertas, incluyendo carnívoros, vegetarianos y veganos. Con un cuarteto de chefs de primera clase la comida en el Restaurante Terraza es de primera clase. Después de haber comido allí durante las últimas noches me gustaría dar las gracias a Rohan, el chef jefe muy talentoso, que me cuidó tan bien. No solo la comida era deliciosa, la presentación era una obra de arte. Gracias también a todo el personal de catering que hizo mi experiencia gastronómica única.

Sinceramente, no sé cuáles son las quejas. Tuvimos una cena maravillosa (mero y pollo) y fue genial! El servicio, la presentación y el gusto fue de primera categoría. Los precios eran un poco más altos de lo normal, pero este es un restaurante de servicio completo, no un pub! Nos pareció que toda la factura era muy razonable: si eres de los Estados Unidos, es aproximadamente un 15 % más barata de lo que esperarías pagar. Dale una oportunidad, no creas en todas las críticas negativas. También pedimos Huevos florentina del menú para el desayuno y estaba muy bien presentado y tenía un sabor genial.
