Mount Oval Bar in Cork

The food is always amazing and very decent portions. There are fantastic specials that change regularly, the meet and greet is always warm and welcoming and there’s a great atmosphere. Having been eating there for the past 7 years, we have noticed a decline in the service lately. Not enough to make us not go but enough for us to notice and a easy enough sort to bring the rating back up to 5 for service.

Used the new golf simulator upstairs and was a great experience. Staff were very friendly and helpful in setting up and explaining how to use the simulator. Good was brilliant, fresh and hot! Again when asked staff brought extra dips etc.

Lively spot, good beer and good food. Worth a visit

Wife and I popped in for a bite to eat. And the 5th 🌟 for the special service in make our request to share the burger and fish, but solve the mozzarella problem, a reality. Thank you to the lovely young lady who helped us..

Food was gorgeous. Ordered beef burger and it came with fries, dipping sauces and side salad. Burger was delicious, same with fries, probably one of the best burgers I had in Cork. Pickled side salad was ok but it was not my cup of tea, would swap it for something else. And their pickles - heaven! I love pickles and this one was perfect - crunchy and juicy. Staff is welcoming and friendly, and place has a nice cosy atmosphere. I found it a little bit expensive though - but can’t complain, food was delicious.
