A bit out of town but well worth the walk. Lovely quiet location with amazing views. All of the staff were so pleasant to deal with.
Very happy with my experience in this hotel and would definitely stay there again.

Excellent in every way. Our room was spotlessly clean and well appointed. The bed was very comfortable. The food was first class, both evening a la carte and breakfast. Above all, every member of staff we met really were friendly and super efficient.

We had lunch in this lovely hotel. The food was really good, great choice and prices were good. The staff were very efficient and friendly. Would certainly recommend. It is beside a marina so I would imagine a great place to pull up off the shannon in the summer. Very impressed.

Just want to start that the service has always been excellent. Staff are always friendly and polite and as accommodating as possible. The food can be better some times as others but usually always fine. My one big complaint would be their policy of no split bills. There is no reason this should be a problem, even if the system in place does not allow them to pull up individual meals/drinks to bring up a total for what one person ordered, there are ways around this, a calculator at the till for one or also they can offer the table the choice of individual bills as they are taking the order. It is a basic customer right to just have to pay for what you alone ordered, and this comes down to the policy of the owners/managers. This is where their customer service fails and would be the reason I would not be quick to return. The staff on duty can only follow the policies they are given, so I do not blame them. With the technology we have today this should not be an issue, weather there are 3 at the table or 23 at the table and there are plenty of other places that do accomodate split bills, I work in the service industry myself and every day I have to split bills, add discounts and give prices for multiple courses and combination courses, it takes a little extra time but really is not a big deal at all. It is just a basic in good customer service, very annoyed and frustrated after leaving, at this lack of respect for customers after what was otherwise a lovely morning.
