We were traveling from Dublin to Connemara and were pleasantly surprised by the whole facility and the very friendly and helpful staff. Only the very young man at breakfast was visibly overwhelmed by our wishes. But I can still fully recommend it. Food was also delicious and very plentiful. Seems to be a local hotspot. At the end of the week it is advisable to reserve in advance.

An exceptional wedding party and we are extremely grateful to Adrian and his team for making our special day even more memorable. Adrian went above and beyond to ensure we received value for money. The food and location were both excellent and the accommodation was a high standard.

A group of us visited The Moycarn Lodge at the weekend. We were there for one night and had dinner and breakfast. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The rooms were spacious, warm and comfy. We had a lovely view of the river from our bedroom. The bar and restaurant are ambient and cosy. They had a decent cocktail list. The food was delicious, portions were huge! Everyone was really happy overall. I'd recommend this venue for a special occasion or a party with friends and family. Located just a few minutes off the motorway, super easy to find. A hidden gem!

A wonderful environment and perfect attention.
The perfect hotel to get to know the entire area near Ballinasloe: both Clonmacnoise, Athlone and Galway.
Wonderful and extremely hospitable care.
The only drawback would be that it is clearly advisable to go with a private vehicle: it is necessary if you are visiting to see the entire region; Although if it is simply for a few days of rest in the hotel, it is not so necessary either.

Went here for my granddaughters christening I have to say it was lovely we all had food which was amazing and done to perfection the staff were so nice and couldn't do enough for us. If you're in ballinasloe you have got to eat here the food is out of this world

Everything is always perfect.
Beautiful place beside marina.
Beautifully decorated.
We ate here few times already, food always delicious, absolutely tasty, best food in Ballinasloe, very reasonable, servis outstanding, can't find anything wrong.
If you are ever in Ballinasloe, definitely go for food to Moycarn.

Hi my name is Martina kilcare staying at present. All I can say is excellent. We arrived for the fair. Got free take away coffee for the cold day. Arrived back late, no food. But went out of there way for fresh bread , crisps, chocolate, coffee, wine. Helped to the lift. Rooms so warm, cosy. Booked for next year. Absouletly lovely. In bed with my sambo watching tv looking forward to breakfast. Thanks to all staff Martina
