Its basically an awesome house tour. You cant take videos only photos. There was a white crow in there i thought that was awesome. Lots of prized antlers made me thought about that deer that got beheaded in Phoenix Park recently. The exit led to the shop that led to us buying some muckross apparell. ๐Ÿซข

Loved the tour!! Docents were a little dry but didnโ€™t detract from the overall experience. Loved seeing the period furniture.l and learned a lot about how the house would have operated.

Very Christmassey and festive at muckross Cafe. Take the family for a brisk walk and pop into the Cafe for refreshment after and warm your bones. Friendly staff in this canteeen style Cafe. Love the shop too. Buy some gorgeous Tweed from muckross weavers.

This was my third visit with different family members over the last 12 years. And it's still impresses each time. This time it was decorated for Christmas ๐ŸŽ„ And makes it more homely and beautiful to see. I truly recommend to anyone that has not seen it on Christmas time or anytime to go visit. Very reasonable price too. โ‚ฌ9 God blessand merry Christmas to all.๐ŸŽ„

Really enjoyed the serenity in and around Muckross house. We didnโ€™t have time to walk on many of the trails, but still had time to view the natural beauty surrounding the home. Such a peaceful little hour. Highly recommend to check it out if youโ€™re in the area in Ireland.

Used to come to muckross on family holiday as a child and recently returned as an adult with my own family. Charm and beauty are timeless. Stunning grounds, plenty of parking, self paced tour with information shared by staff in every room. The details and beauty are hard not to appreciate long after your visit. Cafe has great food and beverage options. Farms are closed seasonally beginning in November which is something to keep on mind if that's of interest. Honestly visiting in early November meant very few crowds which was great. Highly recommend during your trip to Killarney, like 11k others have also shared ๐Ÿ˜€

Clanard Court Hotel

20/09/2025: Arrived late and we were looked after very well by reception staff. Rooms were spacious and very comfortable. Impressive reception area. Overall hotel left a very good impression particularly in relation to staff and management.
20/08/2025: My family and I stayed here for one night for my sisterโ€™s wedding. The wedding was beautiful and the food was delicious. The room we stayed in was huge and had 3 beds for my family of 6. I was especially happy with the service and kindness of the general manager, Owen, who helped us when we checked out. My husbandโ€™s wedding ring fell into a sewer in the parking lot (thanks to my son lol) and the manager came to not only give us tools, but he stuck his entire bare arm down that sewer and got the ring back. We offered him a tip because thatโ€™s what we do where we live but he kindly refused it and put it back into my babyโ€™s stroller. Very kind man!

06/10/2025: The food was excellent Starter, Mains and Dessert! When the owner got wind it was my Birthday another beautiful Dessert was presented. Don't know how I managed to eat it ๐Ÿ˜… But I did ๐Ÿ˜‹ great experience!
