Muckross House is truly a fabulous place to discover. We were amazed by the luxury and beauty of the place. The welcome was very warm, the children loved the farm even though it would have required a translation into French as well. A must do!

Nicely presented Victorian house set within the very well kept park and gardens. Last entry is 5.40pm and the parking is free with plenty of spaces.

It's very beautiful and a very large space with various spaces and utensils used at that time. It's well worth a visit, and it's complemented by Muckross Farm, which is a children's attraction with touchable farm animals.

What a charming house steeped in history. Staff were knowledgeable and attentive. Well worth the visit especially as it sits in beautiful grounds. Be sure to visit the traditional farms and abbey while you are here.
