Great range of options, amazing service!

Lovely tasty treat, the ice cream flavours were fantastic and there were a wide range of options.

Fantastic service from the lady and gentleman at Murphy's Ice Cream, they were incredibly polite and friendly. The sampling initiative is a very clever and enticing technique, but was not abrasive. Ice Cream sizes go by weight here, so even if you want a small, you can still pick multiple flavours so long as it is at the weight selected. Delicious tasting, local to Ireland and a great experience overall.

Staff are super friendly and they have many unique, delicious flavours. Highly recommend!

Delicious ice cream and well worth a stop if you're visiting Galway. The staff were really helpful and friendly and let us try a few flavours so we chose the best ones for us. They also helped suggest flavours that would go well together and they were spot on! Really enjoyed and would definitely visit again.

I called into Murphy's ice cream on the 10th October 2024, around 20.15. Whomever were serving that night, at that time deserve full credit and recognition for being warm, welcoming and friendly employees. Thanks for a great experience

One of my favourite ice cream spots to visit! The interior is a little bit small, but super cute and nicely decorated. I got the small ice cream cone and chose the flavours chocolate whiskey and fresh Irish strawberry, which was €6. For the price, there is a lot of ice cream that comes with the small and it's great that you can pick two flavours no matter the size. It was also very nice that they let you try some samples before choosing! 🤗

I had seen a lot of favorable reviews for Murphy’s. I stopped here and had a chocolate whisky ice cream. The flavors were very underwhelming. I couldn’t detect the whisky and the chocolate was just so-so. The woman at the counter was really nice but I wouldn’t recommend their ice cream.

This nicely lit shop had very nice employees who offered to let us sample flavors before ordering, but I decided to just go ahead and order a bowl with 2 flavors (chocolate and butterscotch). The price was on the high side (7.5 euros), and I was disappointed in the lack of taste for both flavors (especially the butterscotch, which is typically my favorite flavor). I passed the bowl to my wife who said it was decent.
