Good, wholesome food. We were served by a very friendly guy. The only drawback: it's opposite of a meat stand. But I guess that's not their fault, 70% of English Market is stinking, goggling fish/meat. 🙈

We had a very delicious wrap! All is gluten free and vegan, and super tasty! One of us has been vegan for many years and was super enthusiastic about the food combination and the nutritional value of our wraps!!!! A must go to even if you don’t eat vegan!!! The dessert was okay but the wraps were truly amazing!!!

The Mint Limey kombucha is so unique and refreshing, easily the best kombucha I’ve ever had, and the kimchi Mac-and-cheeze is a magician’s work. Highly highly recommend.

It's one of the stalls at the English Market in Cork. Everything is gluten-free and vegan. They prepare your food freshly. I ordered the carrot rolls and they were delicious. Served with chickpea pâté, pea puree, soy sauce, and other herbs. Delicious, and for dessert, an almond cake. I loved it. You can try it at any of the pubs near the market that don't serve food. Ask first. If you're staying in an apartment, you can buy kombucha and other homemade fermented drinks. If you're celiac, this is a safe place.

Hayfield Manor Hotel

12/08/2025: I have stayed in hayfield many many times over the years . My most recent visit was last weekend . I must say I thought hayfield had completely lost its family feel . It was so disappointing to have that corporate feel about the place . Familiar faces long gone !! If this is the way hayfield is going then I won’t be returning . Very sad indeed .

The atmosphere was intimate and elegant without being pretentious, which allowed us to fully relax and savor the evening. It was clear why The Glass Curtain has earned its Michelin star- it exceeded every expectation. This meal was a highlight of our trip, and we will absolutely return when we are back in Ireland.
