Nevin's Newfield Inn in

Stopped here on the way back from Achill (about 30 mins from Keel) and would 100% recommend. The food was fantastic. We got lasagna and the turkey&ham. All were excellent and delicious. Desserts of lemon meringue and fudge brownie were also class. Proper mugs for tea too! The waiters were brilliant - always checking in, so friendly and lovely. They make the place special. The only thing that was disappointing was that the hot chocolate - it just wasn't hot. Definitely stop here if you're in the area. 💯

We went here for lunch today. The food was lovely as always. Ordered the lasagne but it was already sold out so its an excuse for another visit soon to try this dish. Everyone was happy with what they ordered

Food quality and service is always 110%. There is something for absolutely everyone on the menu and it is always delicious. The vibe is chill and staff are friendly. There is loads of space for big and small groups. One stop shop for all. I always come back here when I'm home. 💛

Just back from a wonderful stay at Nevins Lodge. Everything was immaculate, amazing bathroom and shower. The bedroom was spacious with real comfortable beds and beautiful white crisp linen. We had our evening meal there too. We were very lucky to get a table as we phoned up and they said they were full but walk in anyway and see. We walked in and there was a long queue as it was a bank holiday weekend and John the owner said "oh we have feed anyone that stay s with us." We were so delighted as we were hungry and didn't have much time as we're meeting my relations later . The meal was absolutely delicious ,everything was top-notch. All the staff were very friendly and efficient. Great service too,we even had time for little rest before we went out. Would highly recommend Nevins Newfield lnn to anyone staying in the Mulranny/Achill vicinity you definitely won't be disappointed.💯💫💫💫💫💫

I consider myself somewhat of an aficionado when it comes to Fish and Chips (note the capitalisation, this is deliberate and a mark of respect ✊). Add to this that I hail from the birthplace of the old F&C so, I’m a bit of a purist. Nevin’s has, hands down, THE best Fish and Chips I have had in this past three years since sliding across to the Emerald Isle. My husband and I visited twice this week and I had 🐠 and 🍟 both times. Astounding, both times. Add to this the wonderfully friendly staff, spectacular view across Clew Bay, Bella (robot waitress), open fires, and the Motorhome parking across the road…you’d be mad not to.

I’m a fan of nevins. Staff are lovely and the location is great. Especially for camper van enthusiasts. But the food wasn’t up to standard. We had lunch and dinner ( and stayed in the van parking) soup was pretty tasteless and only 1 slice of brown bread. Shepherds pie from the specials was tasty but too much mash and in a pastry case. Not enough meat for me. The robot was fun.
