Where to start. We picked Newbay house for our wedding day. We loved how it was close to town but also so private, on the day you felt like you were in the middle of nowhere with all of your loved ones. Maria and Rachel were amazing from the start. They make you feel like you are their only wedding even though they are so so busy with weddings, I don't know how they do it! Any concerns or requests we had, they sorted them out no problem. We didn't have to worry about anything. I heard of other couples having trouble with their venues (additional costs, Iack of flexibility...) and I just thought God we are so lucky. We got to have our dream ceremony outside in the beautiful garden, but an indoor ceremony would have been gorgeous too. The food was amazing(some people said best wedding food they ever had) and plenty of canopies, nobody was hungry. Everything was perfect, we had the best day ever. Thank you so so much.

We honestly couldn’t recommend Newbay House Hotel highly enough. Our journey with Newbay House began back in 2023, when we chose our wedding date of 28th August 2026. From that very first day right through to our wedding day, Maria and Rachel were absolutely second to none. Their attention to detail, professionalism and genuine care throughout the whole process was outstanding. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they were always there whenever we needed advice, help or even just a little reassurance. They made the whole experience so much easier and more enjoyable for us. We definitely put them to the test when we decided to transform the ballroom into the Wild West 🤠, but they embraced every idea we had and helped us bring our vision to life. We are so grateful for everything they did to make our day so special. We also have to give a massive thank you to Paul in the kitchen. The food was honestly the best food we have ever eaten! From helping us with our choices to listening to exactly what we wanted and even tweaking dishes to suit us, Paul went above and beyond. Every course was absolutely incredible, and so many of our guests commented on how amazing the food was. It really was one of the highlights of our day. A huge thank you to Maria, Rachel, Paul and the entire Newbay House team for all their hard work, patience and support. From the planning stages in 2023, right through to the big day, you helped make everything so special and created memories that we will treasure. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and that meant the world to us. Thank you, Newbay House Hotel, for being such a huge part of our journey. We couldn’t have asked for a better team, better food or a better place to celebrate our wedding.

Attended a wedding here .we were looked after very well from the minute we arrived till the minute we left it.Absolutely beautiful hotel with lovely garden that are easy to walk around.Food and service was first class.
