We recently had our wedding at Newbay House Hotel, and words can hardly do justice to how incredible the entire experience was. From the moment we first visited, we knew it was something special and it completely exceeded our expectations in every way. The grounds and setting are absolutely stunning. The blend of old-world charm with modern elegance provides a truly magical backdrop for a wedding. Whether it's the beautiful gardens, the intimate courtyard, or the elegant interiors, every corner of the venue feels like it belongs in a fairytale. What truly set Newbay House apart, though, was the exceptional service. The team was nothing short of phenomenal — professional, warm, attentive, and completely committed to making our day perfect. No detail was too small, and their calm, organised approach meant we could actually relax and enjoy ourselves. Special thanks to Maria and Rachel , who went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. They both are sunshine but in human form!!! The food was another highlight. Our guests are still talking about how delicious every course was — beautifully presented, locally sourced, and absolutely delicious. The chef Paul and catering staff clearly take great pride in their work. It was simply amazing! The household staff, The bar staff and the catering team – the smiles, the laughter, the good vibes! It’s so clear how much everyone loves working together. Our day flowed seamlessly from start to finish. The venue’s layout also meant that guests could explore, mingle, and enjoy themselves in a relaxed and elegant environment. We truly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. I recently hosted a birthday party at Newbay House Wexford, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The venue is full of charm and character, with beautifully kept gardens that created a stunning backdrop for the evening. Inside, the elegant ballroom atmosphere added a real sense of occasion and made the night feel truly special. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and served with care. The entire team was professional and attentive throughout. Special thanks to Maria, who made everything run so smoothly. From the early planning stages to the night of the event, she was organized, thoughtful, and always one step ahead. Her calm and professional approach really helped everything come together. Maria was a pleasure to work with and truly made the celebration feel effortless. Highly recommend Newbay House for any special occasion.

To say Newbay House, Maria and the team are incredible is an understatement! We had our day on July 5th with day two in Newbay House also! We were absolutely blessed with beautiful weather which allowed for a garden ceremony and pictures and a beautiful sunny BBQ for day two! From the moment we booked our date Maria and Rachel were so incredibly helpful and friendly! No question was too much! Paul ensured our menu was exactly as we hoped for and our menu tasting was stunning! The meal on the day was absolutely delicious and also th BBQ on day two, our guests are still talking about how gorgeous it was! A huge credit to Paul and his team! Everything was amazing throughout the weekend, we could not have been looked after to a higher standard and knowing this on your special day makes it so much more enjoyable and comfortable! I really cannot thank Maria, Rachel and the team enough and will recommend Newbay House to anyone

I was part of the team who organised the Midsummer Ladies Lunch in Newbay this weekend and have to say we were looked after exceptionally well by an incredible team led by Maria. I would highly recommend anyone who is considering an event here to book without hesitation. The whole team was fantastic, Maria was incredible to deal with especially when there were a lot of moving parts on the day. Rachel was also exceptional. 10/10 service

We had our wedding at Newbay earlier this year. Maria,Tracie, Rachel, Paul and the team were incredible, nothing was too much trouble and our wedding day was absolutely perfect. The food was fantastic, the house and grounds looked stunning, the bridal suite and guest rooms were beautiful and everybody working at Newbay on the day were so helpful. Tracie and Rachel were fantastic, they were both so kind and helpful - always checking in the make sure everyone and everything was ok. Paul was brilliant and really helpful at our food tasting. He had no problem making arrangements for our guests with food allergies and the wedding breakfast was absolutely delicious. Maria was a dream! The day ran so smoothly and nothing was ever a problem. Maria was always on hand to answer our questions in the lead up to the day and ensured we felt relaxed. From our first visit to Newbay she was fantastic. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience (Maria promised us good weather and she even delivered on that despite the yellow weather warnings!) Our wedding day was better than we could have imagined and we can’t recommend Maria and her team highly enough.

We had an amazing private family reunion at Newbay House, not their usual type of event, but due to my wife’s connection to the house they made an exception. The owners and staff have gone out of their way to retain the history and legacy of the house, while modernizing it in all the right places. The house and grounds are incredibly beautiful and historic! The staff are also the best people in the world, they made our get together a complete success and looked after us like family. Special thanks to Maria for going out of her way for us. If you’re thinking of Newbay House for a wedding or event, don’t hesitate, it will be a memory you’ll always cherish.
