We had our Wedding at Newbay House in September 2025 and it really was the best day of our lives. This review cannot express how good everything was. From the first day we went to view the venue we knew it was special. The house and gardens are beautiful and so elegant but it is the staff that set this place apart from other venues. Rachel and Maria and the whole team are so good. Absolutely nothing was a bother. We had no stress at all in the lead up to the wedding or on the day itself. They are so kind and so helpful. All our questions were answered and we had no doubts or worries whatsoever. Paul did an amazing job with the food. He was so helpful at the menu tasting and everyone was raving about the food. On the day everything ran like clockwork. Dinner bell rang at the agreed time and everything was just right. The whole day exceeded our expectations in so many ways. After getting engaged in the magical city of Valletta, Malta, last September, we began searching for wedding venues in Brian’s hometown of Wexford for our late summer/early autumn 2025 wedding. Newbay House was the very first venue on our list, and after arranging a guided tour with Maria Power, the venue manager, we quickly realized we didn’t need to look any further. From the moment we stepped through the front door, we knew Newbay was something truly special — a magical venue with breathtaking gardens and an intimate charm. It offers the feeling of an exclusive country house, yet is only minutes from Wexford Town. Maria, Rachel, and the entire Newbay team were outstanding. Their attention to detail and genuine care were second to none. They guided us every step of the way — after all, Maria and her team are experts in weddings, while we were complete novices! Thanks to them, we felt fully supported and stress-free throughout the process. When our big day arrived, we were blessed with beautiful weather and able to hold our ceremony outside in the stunning landscaped gardens. Everything ran with military precision — from the drinks reception to the wedding breakfast, the music, and the disco — and our guests enjoyed every moment. The food was a particular highlight; everyone raved about its exceptional quality throughout the day. What makes Newbay even more special is the accommodation. We were able to host our closest family and friends overnight at the venue itself, while other guests stayed at Newbay’s sister property, the Talbot Hotel in Wexford Town. The complimentary shuttle bus provided at the end of the night was a brilliant touch that everyone appreciated. We firmly believe that “people don’t do business with businesses — they do business with people.” Maria, Rachel, and the entire Newbay team embody this belief. They were exemplary in every way, and we cannot recommend them highly enough. We have the most magical memories from our special day at Newbay House — memories we will cherish forever. We recently got married in August at Newbay house and I dont think we can say thank you enough for the most amazing wedding day. A special thank you to Maria and Rachel who went above and beyond to make it a day we will remember forever. They both were exceptional from start to finish and nothing was ever too much trouble. In every meeting that we had I always came away feeling like everything was under control. We opted for an outdoor ceremony and thankfully on the day the Irish weather held out for us! The gardens are just stunning and we had so many compliments from guests and we were also able to have the most beautiful photos there afterwards. We would like to say a special thank you to Paul (head chef) and his team for the most stunning BBQ that we opted for with our summer wedding. The food was absolutely delicious with so much choice and they also catered for any requests that our guests needed before and on the day. We have had so many compliments on our day. We couldn't have picked a better venue and they really are the dream team. Thank you for everything.

No detail was too small, and their calm, organised approach meant we could actually relax and enjoy ourselves. Special thanks to Maria and Rachel , who went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. They both are sunshine but in human form!!! The food was another highlight. Our guests are still talking about how delicious every course was — beautifully presented, locally sourced, and absolutely delicious. The chef Paul and catering staff clearly take great pride in their work. It was simply amazing! The household staff, The bar staff and the catering team – the smiles, the laughter, the good vibes! It’s so clear how much everyone loves working together. Our day flowed seamlessly from start to finish. The venue’s layout also meant that guests could explore, mingle, and enjoy themselves in a relaxed and elegant environment. We truly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day.
