most of the dishes are ok, but I ate a dish with cauliflower and groats, everything would be ok - if the cauliflower was soft or semi-soft, but it was hard as a stone, it was impossible to cut it, and after two parts it was burnt and smelled of burning. it wasn't good.the best are the wings with cheese and celery, well prepared, the sauce is great, the meat falls off the bone, very tasty, the fish and the steak.There are no alcoholic cocktails.

Excellent service we were very well looked after. Enjoyed the guitar music. The food was fabulous. Will definitely return.

Incredibly good Food, Service and Atmosphere really recommend the Apple sponge for dessert it is delicious 🤤. The Live music is really nice and creates a great dining atmosphere the staff is friendly and accommodating.

We just had a brilliant time here last night. The menu was inventive, the food was delicious, and the fella playing the guitar was a gem.

Cosy, clean and great atmosphere. When we arrived the waiter was very bubbly and brought us straight to our table then took our drinks order. Service was fast and friendly. They brought us a plate of assorted bread which we immediately took into and finished before they took our food order. 3 of us ordered soup and the other 2 ordered the chowder. Everyone thought the starters were delicious. The only problem was we had no bread as we figured the bread we ate was an appetiser and staff didn’t bring any more out until halfway through when we asked for it. An oversight on their part, but the food was still nice. For mains we all ordered steak and pork belly. The pork belly was lovely and the steak were all cooked to perfection. The only issue with mains was the small portion of shared vegetables that came along with it. Between 5 men they really didn’t go far so we asked for more and the second portion came with mash which didn’t come the first time round. However they were all delicious. Service was very fast for every course bar dessert which was surprising as usually dessert in the fastest course. Starters and main probably took 5-10 minutes but dessert must’ve took over 20. We were about to just forget about it and pay when they brought the dishes out. Everyone enjoyed their desserts. We had the brioche donuts, chocolate fondants and apple cake. My fondant wasn’t the best I ever had, nor was the accompanying ice cream, but it was ok. Overall the ambience, food and service were great. A little pricey and the menu is a smidge limited, but would certainly go back.

Enjoyed a beautiful dinner with family. Food was fabulous. Cosy, comfortable, environment.

Always a great spot and superb for foodies, but can be a little too gastro for some.

Lovely friendly welcome on a very busy evening. Great service and wonderful food beautifully presented. Great atmosphere too, guitarist was playing. Make sure you book first or you could be disappointed. The tall lady with glasses ( sorry didn't get name) was very helpful and customer orientated, thank you.
