We just had a brilliant time here last night. The menu was inventive, the food was delicious, and the fella playing the guitar was a gem.

Hi there, 3 Times "P" from me! Perfect dishes, Perfect service, Perfect decor, climate, aura... We haven't had such a good meal in such a good atmosphere for a long time. 2 adults+5 kids, we are all satisfied, no exceptions. Chicken wings, toast with avocado, unique nuggets with fries:))), Fish and chips, brownie, ice-craeam - delishes, but my seefood chowder and my panfried wild hake ... craftsmanship! Compliment to the Cook! everything took a very short time, efficiently and pleasantly! I really regret that the Orsman is not located in my area!

We have been here many, many times and it is always fantastic. The food is simply amazing, so consistent and a wonderful menu. Drink selections are brilliant too with the best range of Irish craft beers on tap that you would find anywhere. And the staff too are always brilliant, excellent service and all with personality.

My friend and I dined here on the first night of a short mid-week trip to Roscommon and Sligo. She is gluten intolerant and I am a vegetarian, and having had many mid to average experiences at restaurants outside of Belfast and Dublin I was skeptical. However I was very happy to eat my words! The vegetarian main was tasty and imaginative - no lazy goats cheese or risotto dishes here. The chef knows how to cook vegetables! My friend was very happy with her fish main. The wine list was decent. My only criticism was that one of the pats of butter had bacon in it, which wasn't mentioned only my friend tasted it and confirmed it be. Also, another gluten free desert option would be a good addition. The bread basket was fresh and homemade. The staff were very friendly and attentive. A large party were sat next to us shortly after we sat down, but we never felt like we were being ignored in favour of attending to their table. The food was served so quickly too, we had finished our meal within an hour of sitting down.
Shortly after leaving the restaurant, our car broke down and the two wonderful wait staff (a blonde lady and brunette, I'm terrible at remembering names!) were so kind and told us to sit at the bar until we got sorted out. What could have been a miserable evening standing in the rain, we were welcomed with a pot of tea at the bar. It was so appreciated and really raised our spirits.
