Great food, wonderful, friendly and attentive staff, a cozy, beautiful interior, and the dessert was absolutely delightful. I will definitely come back again!

Arguably the best restaurant in Carrick-on-Shannon. We made a reservation however there was space for walk ins. The food and service is outstanding, well presented main courses and a selection of freshly made desserts.

Chicken wings and pan seared hake were divine. Atmosphere was mellow with great live acoustic guitar music even on a Tuesday night. Highly recommend if in the area!

Went for a birthday celebration. Being Scots living in Ireland we were thrilled to hear Wild Mountain Tyme being played on a classic guitar (my wife thought I'd arranged it). Food & service were great and the guitar music in the background is lovely. So nice to hear familiar Scottish tunes being played very professionally. Thanks to you all for a lovely evening. We hope to be back.

Recommended by a local and it was better than expected… the staff here were outstanding, the food of course was super too - they really looked after us & made it feel special :)

Absolutely fantastic! I always come here for special occasions, and the service is truly exceptional. I vistied the restaurant yesterday and our waiter, Mike, went above and beyond—he remembered us from our last visit, greeted us warmly, and even recalled our favorite chicken wing variations (which are delicious!). He without doubt is one of the best waiters I have ever had! Every detail was taken care of, making us feel genuinely valued and welcomed. The food is delicious, the live guitar sets the perfect ambiance, and the overall experience keeps me coming back. Highly recommended!

We had a Delicious dinner with Fabulous service throughout. Jacinta was amazing with particular attention to detail. 4 extra spoons so that our non-dessert eating guest could try all of our puddings when he expressed a joking intention to do this. He thoroughly enjoyed them all too! Especially the bread and butter ice cream. And the classical guitarist John was incredible. Such a talented musician. We’ll look forward to our next evening out there.

Was excited to be booked into The Oasman, because of the Michelin Guide listing. It would be an understatement to say I was underwhelmed. Service from the waiting staff was excellent, surroundings and atmosphere great. The food though was overcooked, both starter and main course. I know I should have said something. I didn't, but I shouldn't have to...won't rush back.
