Time it takes food to come out varies considerably

I’ve given 3 stars because I ate there before & enjoyed it. However this time, after driving from Dublin on my way to Cork, I wasn’t able to have breakfast there because it finishes at 11am (I arrived at 11.20am) This is the only place I’ve ever been in that didn’t finish breakfast at noon! I left & had a very nice breakfast in Blueberries up the road.

Awesome food wonderful service. Fantastic to have such a wonderful establishment in our town. And great to see so many locals employed too.

Good value for money. I had Mini Breakfast and it was really tasty, fresh and hot, delicious warm soda bread. Latte was ok, had better ones. Place feels homey and cosy and staff were lovely. The only thing is - service was really slow, by the time we got our breakfast, coffees were already cold and almost finished. I would be back here though to try more of their dishes.

Called in twice here on our visit to Ireland, loved it. Can highly recommend. Very friendly staff. Will always aim to come here every possible visit in the future.

Lovely meal, dessert and coffee

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Homely atmosphere. Traditional food. The salad could be a bit nicer but other than that the food is fairly nice. Reasonably priced. Cakes look good.

I travel to Mitchelstown with work from the UK so come here every time I'm over. It's such a great spot and the food is delicious. I am a big fan of the salad bowls, particularly the salmon. The food is so fresh, and the staff are lovely. It speaks volumes when each time I have visited the queue is pretty much out the door!

stooped for lunch on way home from trip away. Great to see such a busy eatery in a rural country these days. I had the soup and brown bread which was lovely. In fact I bought some of their brown bread when leaving because it was so nice.
