O'Connell's in Dublin

Best pub in Howth, very friendly staff and with great service. Food was nice and well presented. Sport on the TV’s without taking away from the atmosphere of a “Irish Pub”.

Great food, service, and views! We tried so many things because we couldn't decide, and nothing disappointed. I wish we could enjoy dinner here more often!

Beautiful pub with great food. We ordered the Beef & Guinness Pie, Prawn Tempura and Kids Sausages and chips. Al were well cooked and delicious. The cocktails are incredible here!! There was live music on and it was very busy but the staff were on it and very attentive. We regularly visit and it’s consistently excellent.

On my recent visit to Ireland, I stopped by O’Connell’s Pub and Restaurant in Howth after hearing so many great things—and it definitely lived up to the hype. I was especially excited to try their fish and chips, and it did not disappoint. Definitely a spot I’d recommend if you’re visiting Howth.

Cozy traditional pub in Howth that you absolutely need to visit if you’re there. Lovely vibe and tasty pint while a Man City game was on with friendly people and staff.

We stopped at this pub and restaurant on Sunday afternoon after a hike and couldn't have wished for a better place to take a break. The ambiance perfectly embodies the image of a classic Irish pub: very cozy, charmingly decorated, and authentic. A particular highlight was the live music. A large group of older gentlemen, each with at least one instrument, played together. Their interplay was impressive and created a very special, almost magical atmosphere. Later, a football match was shown on the big screen, demonstrating that sports fans can also enjoy themselves here without losing the cozy atmosphere. The food was excellent. We had a chicken burger and the pulled pork sandwich – both arrived piping hot and were among the best meals of our entire short trip in and around Dublin. The cheesecake wasn't quite my favorite, but that's purely a matter of taste and doesn't reflect the quality. The selection of food and drinks is extensive, and the staff are consistently very friendly and attentive. Overall, it was a truly wonderful experience that we will fondly remember. Went here on a Sunday for food and a couple of pints. Fishermans pie was mouth watering and the Guinness was good. There was a trad session on in the bar downstairs which was packed but looked like good craic. Highly recommended.

Nice bar with friendly and hard working staff. The food wasn't the best. I had chicken wings, which tasted nice but some of the wings seemed to be refried. There was nothing exciting about the smashed cheese burger, which came with a small portion of chips and some wet salad leaves. The brownie was delicious.

The food was delicious and the service impeccable. We had the typical dish, fish with potatoes, and beef with Guinness sauce. They had gluten-free options.
