O'Connell's in Dublin

Enjoyed a really good fishermans pie here, very friendly staff. Recommended!

We took the family (5 adults) here for a family occasion. It was excellent 👌 I had the fish and chips - the batter was extremely light & delicious 😋 One of our party was vegetarian & had linguine with black olives - she said it was amazing. Every single person had a different dish & they were all very happy. We also had a few drinks & my husband tells me the Guinness was tasty - which is good to know! The waiters were very friendly & helpful & the surroundings are warm & relaxed. We had a lovely family meal together. I would recommend booking a table as opposed to just arriving. The website is very easy to navigate & has a very intuitive system for booking. I would recommend O'Connells to anyone.

Fast service...very tasty...pleasant atmosphere

Lovely atmosphere and staff are lovely too. Everyones food was nice. Great fish & chips. Deserts are questionnable.. still frozen ..

Stopped in for a couple of pints after taking a hike on the many trails close by (wow, fantastic views). Place was very busy. We sat outside in the covered patio. Took no time to get drinks from the bar and the bartender was a hoot! 😁 You will have to go get your own drinks from the bar. The pints were exactly what the doctor ordered, Lovely and cold. Fantastic atmosphere. Wish we all could have stayed longer.

Two of us went to eat, it was fine although I think that in Dublin there are cheaper places and you eat the same or better. We left for about €25/person without ordering a drink, just tap water. We ordered seafood soup, very good but intense. Fish burger, which was the typical fish and chips fish put in a burger and the meat one was quite cooked… The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is very good.

Lovely pub. The food is also very nice. Live traditional music on Sundays.

Les plats sont bons mais pas raffinés. Un burger sans sauce sur le pain et un morceau de salade, c'est pas un burger ! La vue est sympa et la musique top !

Great location just beside the pier. The menu had a few too many spicy things for my parents (seemed a bit unbalanced) but what they did choose, the Guinesss Pie, they really enjoyed. It is a nice pub and we had an enjoyable lunch here. Service was OK, can't say super friendly but efficient.
