O'Dooles Restaurant in Kildare

Great to see a restaurant of this standard in Kildare. With the Hangman’s closed, we’ve been short of somewhere special locally, and O’Dooles has definitely stepped up. It’s a proper night-out spot – not just a pub meal. We had a group of 15 last night and everything was excellent. Service was friendly and attentive without being over the top, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the place is spotless. The wine list is well chosen and fairly priced, drinks looked great, and the food was full of flavour across all courses. We also had a coeliac with us and the kitchen handled it perfectly – clear communication, careful preparation, and a gluten-free starter made fresh, which was very much appreciated. It’s great to have somewhere like this on our doorstep in Kildare. Highly recommended and we’ll definitely be back.

We had a really lovely experience in O'Dooles restaurant for my brother’s birthday. The staff were fantastic and the food was amazing from start to finish. Great cocktail menu and lovely bar area for a pre dinner drink. Margarita was fab. The prawn starter was delish and the chickpea fritter to start was exceptional. Everyone enjoyed the main courses the Seabass for me was perfect and so flavorsome and my brother was very happy with the Veal chop. Desserts were great and the Cheeseboard - we are all still thinking about it! Great atmosphere in the restaurant. We can’t wait to go back. Thanks again to all the team at O’Dooles!

My friends and I recently visited for a double date, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The ambiance was a vibe. The food was absolutely tastebud memorable. Every dish was so beautifully presented that you can tell the chefs love their job and pride in their craft. A special shoutout to Grace, who served our table. She was warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. An amazing soul who made our evening even more special. Overall, O’Dooles is fine dining at its absolute best. I’ll definitely be revisiting soon!

I have to say this is an amazing restaurant. The meal was fabulous and the atmosphere was warm and cosy. The manager nicky was a very welcoming host and the staff member grace was very pleasant and when asked for something changed on the dish she made sure its done. They both have looked after us very well. Will definitely return.

Incredible good, really. It is a little bit more expensive than the others in the area, but for sure worth it. The bread served before the main, the meet, the sauce, the leek, everything in the perfect cooked time, and what a combination. Also, amazing atmosphere and service. All staff smiling and super polite. The host was so kind and friendly, managed to get a table for us even with just half an hour before closing. Really exceed my expectations. Congratulations for all team!

This restaurant is absolutely delightful in every way, from the welcome at the door, the attentiveness of Ricky and his staff, and, most of all, the quality and mouthwatering flavours of the food prepared and beautifully presented by head chef Magali. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

Can't fault the food in any way and it's a great thing when you go to a place and you know the person cooking clearly cares about the work they're doing. Putting it all into perspective: I went to a two star Michelin restaurant in Marlow in the UK this week and this food really is comparable to it.
