O'Dwyers in Waterville-spunkane

A few years ago, I wrote that these pub was lucky to not be invaded by tourist groups, and that was right for more than twelve years we know the place. Unfortunately, from the moment the former owners got a well deserved retirement, things have changed. And today, we local people were chased away for to leave the place for a tourist group 😡. After this bad experience, we decided to return in winter and found back the lovely place we love, so I change my rating... But we'd rather avoid this place in summer.

Delicious, great atmosphere and service. Had the vegetable coconut curry and it was amaaaazing. Great veggie option for a night in Waterville

Always relaxed and welcoming. Excellent range of drinks and an excellent menu at reasonable prices. Always my first choice.

Great full breakfast. Friendly welcome. Very relaxed experience.

Stopped for lunch and loved the food. Highly recommend the seafood chowder with a toasted ham sandwich. My partner loved the fish and chips. Very reasonably priced.

The Villa is a fabulous traditional Irish pub in the heart of Waterville. The staff are warm and friendly and really make it a home away from home. Great pints of Guinness and music a couple of nights of the week it's a pub that ticks all the boxes. Our little dog Ruby had the best time mingling with staff and locals. Keep up the good work

Wow..... Brilliant atmosphere and very friendly staff. Avril served us and she could not have been nicer. The food was just off the charts it was so good. I would drive from Cork just for the steak sandwich . Cant say better than that. Great pint of Guinness also. We do a lot of touring in Kerry all year round and we will defiantly be back for more.
