O'Gormans in Portlaoise

Food was solidly alright, nothing to write home about. Expansive menu, but food was underwhelming. I sat there thinking I genuinely could have made something better at home. Staff were friendly and accommodating, while busy. Atmosphere was lively, I would go back for drinks and company but not for a meal.

Stopped in here for a quick bite to eat. Had the soup and sandwich combo. Vegetable soup was lovely just the right size portion some nice memorabilia around the bar. Only one small issue the combo was advertised for €10 and when we paid the bill we were charged €11.50 even still it was very nice and reasonably priced. Will definitely be back

Fab Thai Menu. There are lots of options for food. Also option to purchase wine from off licence next door but corkage applies.

Food was excellent. Large portions.

Decent pub grub but a bit on the pricey side. We got the buttermilk chicken burgers. There was some sort of sauce baked onto the plate, presumably as a decoration because it wasn't possible to get it off unless you really scraped at it.

Me & my family have been going to O’Gormans Restaurant for years. Every time we come it’s always a great experience. Absolutely amazing food would recommend to anyone , especially their Thai Food. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful.
