I love the atmosphere in this cosy restaurant which is situated in the most picturesque location possible. Wonderfully professional friendly staff, delicious food.

A fantastic food experience soured by a mandatory 10% tipping fee (coming with people visiting - tourist tax?), and an out of date menu online with in-person prices that were quite a bit higher - 5-10% again.

We’ve been coming here for years whenever we visit Galway, and it never disappoints. The food is always excellent, the views over Galway Bay are spectacular, and the service was outstanding once again — even with a group of 19 of us! And a special mention for the seafood chowder!

We spent our last night in Ireland enjoying the wonderful food, atmosphere and Irish hospitality with Maggie and her delightful staff here in Galway. The starters this evening were unforgettable! Be sure to visit and make reservations in advance!

28/10/2025: Is there a better combination then Irish seafood from the Mighty Atlantic and a pint of plain... top class on both here,great spot.
27/10/2025: The Irish food at this pub was amazing! We had been out exploring all day and wanted a good warm meal on a chilly Irish fall day when we got back into town and this pub certainly filled that need! The wait staff and manager were very attentive and the locals were so friendly and pleasant to speak with! They were also super accommodating of our 7 month old!
