O'Grady's on the Pier in Bearna

I was invited there – the fish is perfect. I would have eaten everything I saw in a heartbeat. Very good Pinot Grigio. Beautiful view of the pier and water.

The location is stunning, the food is amazing. We arrived without booking at lunch, the ground floor was full so they accommodated us upstairs. Next time we will ask for a table upstairs: we got a table at the window, with a stunning view of the Atlantic. Food was superb, the chowder was delicious. Only negative note (to be picky) the linguine were very badly overcooked. But overall absolutely great.

Absolutely stunning view on the ocean, located just on the beach, with huge windows and tables beside them. Lovely atmosphere, super friendly and kind staff, constantly keeping an eye to see if you need anything. Food was way above any possible expectation: amazing fish chowder, the very best seabass ever tasted, and linguine with seafood which came plenty of seafood. The only small observation I can make, and maybe just because I sm italian and I am a bit fossy with pasta, is that the linguine were overcooked. Apart from this, I think this is one of the very best seafood places where I have been.

My wife and I were on our honeymoon. We walked in without a reservation and the owner was very accommodating and friendly. We got a table with a very minimal wait. Food was best we had in area. Staff was very friendly and service grand. However, they will charge you a 10% surcharge either for no reservation or because we were American. Unclear

Went here for our wedding dinner with our family and it couldn’t have been better. The staff are so attentive and friendly, brilliant service. And the food is incredible, with very generous portions! The restaurant staff really went above and beyond for us.

My family and I had an excellent time at O’Grady’s on the Pier. The food was delicious, service was top-notch, and the view was stunning. Highly recommend.
