Old Oak in Cork

Nice bar with usually good bar staff. But watchout for south American bar boy with black dreadlocks and glasses. If you leave your drink on the bar unattended, when you return you will have a different drink in it's place and god only knows what he put in to it. It won't be what you originally ordered. ASK FOR ANGELA! Get bouncers and management to Check the cameras.

From the outside it looks like a small pub, but when you enter inside you will conclude that you are in a very large pub with several bars, the staff is tidy and at the service of the guests, the food is freshly prepared and good, the toilets are clean and tidy...recommended.

This is one of the largest and the oldest bars in Cork. The price is great and the food portions are generous. Not sure if it’s a placebo, but the Guinness here tastes quite weak or almost watery compared to other bars.

I went there twice in two days, it is a solid pub with good food, friendly staff. Cute girl with curly hair. I'll always get a Beamish if I'm in the area.

Love this place. cozy but huge once you walk in. The low reviews for Palestinian flags below show you everything you need to know about the reviewers, not the service if this establishment. They were lovely, attentive and all this during the post christmas/ new years rush :)

Lovely looking pub, spacious, good service but why is it overly garnished with Palestinian flags, totally over the top amount of them on the outside of the premises, inside a gigantic Palestinian flag and the tvs showing messages about the war and starving children! I'm all against what's going on over there to those poor people but talk about a buzz kill!!! Dunno if it's extreme virtue signalling or maybe the owners are actually from Palestine but it turned me right off sadly.

The bar stays open very late, is very large, (often with many unpleasant people), unfortunately I had a bad experience, there are sometimes events with live music

Great music, good staff and even with the jazz festival and live music etc a pint of carlsberg €6. That's so nice to see. First time there wont be my last
