Old Oak in Cork

Lovely looking pub, spacious, good service but why is it overly garnished with Palestinian flags, totally over the top amount of them on the outside of the premises, inside a gigantic Palestinian flag and the tvs showing messages about the war and starving children! I'm all against what's going on over there to those poor people but talk about a buzz kill!!! Dunno if it's extreme virtue signalling or maybe the owners are actually from Palestine but it turned me right off sadly.

The bar stays open very late, is very large, (often with many unpleasant people), unfortunately I had a bad experience, there are sometimes events with live music

Great music, good staff and even with the jazz festival and live music etc a pint of carlsberg €6. That's so nice to see. First time there wont be my last

Great Place for Drinks. Food is average.

I popped by The Old Oak after landing at Cork Airport and before catching a bus onwards and was very glad I did. It was a wonderfully warm and welcoming spot full of friendly and chatty locals. The light lunch was dandy and the couple of pints to wash it down were even better. The star of the show, though, was the exceptional service, energy and attitude of Laura behind the bar! Hope to pop by again when back in town. 😊

Muy buen lugar, buena comida y, por supuesto, la mejor cerveza negra Murphy a 6 euros el pont. Un lugar más barato en el centro de la ciudad de Cork.

Leyendas de Cork, personal amable, gran hazaña no puede pedir mucho más que las banderas palestinas, la prohibición de los productos estadounidenses que se venden en las instalaciones. El condado rebelde sabe de qué lado de la historia estar y el Viejo Roble estará allí cuando se escriba
