Old Street in Malahide

Service was 10/10, we were served by a young girl who was lovely and friendly. The wine and cocktails were very tasty. However the food was so disappointing, way overpriced in my opinion. We ordered the Steak for 2 and half of it was fat and the meat itself didn't have much flavor to it. I heard mixed reviews of this place and can definitely agree that there is far more nicer restaurants to pick in a malahide.

Getting a table for a larger group without a reservation is great. Beautiful atmosphere at Christmas time and the service was very friendly. However, the food was rather average. I had the burger, unfortunately I wasn't asked how well done the meat should be. Accordingly, the burger was far too dry for me because the meat was completely cooked through. Unfortunately, you could only taste the pickled cucumbers from the topping and nothing else. However, the non-alcoholic cocktails are highly recommended.

Still has to be on eof my best places to eat out on a Friday or Saturday night.. booking is vital if you want to dine after 7..

This is a great restaurant, lovely staff, great food, an interesting selection of items, and some of the best cocktails in the locality.

We went back here in September with our two small children and it was such a wonderful and refreshing experience. The food was amazing, the service was wonderful and they were SO accommodating towards families. We never felt like we were out of place with our children. Our girls are well behaved but it was nice to feel welcomed into a space with them and also have an amazing experience. Will definitely come back when we are in Malahide.

Beautiful restaurant with amazing atmosphere fantastic menu options and beautiful food

I came here in June. I ordered a hamburger. It was delicious. And trust me, I'm a drinker. 🤣 The cocktails here are so good and delicious. I really want to go back there again. And the waitresses are so helpful. If you guys open late, I'll be the one to taste every cocktail until closing time! 😂

I finally got to visit Old Street yesterday evening and I can happily say the excited anticipation was justified. Everything about this place is done properly and the price was a lot more reasonable than expected! You visit Old Street for a culinary experience rather than just sustenance and that's exactly what I enjoyed. After a pint and a delicious Negroni from Tudor, Matt brought me the Octopus which was cooked to perfection and absolutely delish. Instead of a chunk of tentacle plonked on some pureed peas, chef Mario created a fabulous journey through your own taste buds with sweet and savoury sauces, hummus and pickled mushrooms. The staff are friendly and helpful and instead of being aloof or humble, they're on the guest's level. They're accessible and welcoming which was lovely. The setting itself is both rustic and ultra-modern at the same time. Old Street has effortlessly shot itself up to my top 5 restaurants and all I had was a pint, a cocktail, a starter and a 16 year old Lagavulin. Great job guys, thanks x

We called in the first Sunday in September at lunchtime without a reservation The manager quickly found us a table We were served by an extremely amicable and friendly blonde haired girl called Ciara— a true professional My wife’s lunch of roast meat needed a little bit more cooking ( for my wife’s taste) and when brought to Ciara’s attention she could not have been more attentive or caring This is a top class restaurant with a top class menu and excellent food Highly recommended I will definitely be back Go go go

Went with another couple. Everyone's dinner was top notch. Staff is friendly & helpful. I've been having trouble with overcooked meat in Ireland, but got a delicious steak cooked rare as i ordered. Highly recommended.
