Really nice place to grab a pint and they seem to have some kind of agreement with the local Japanese place, Miyazaki, so you can have your drink and bring the food in from just across the street. Service is excellent, particularly the dude with the beard (might be the manager), Beamish is really good and that’s coming from a Murphys guy. The best part though is the “no phones” rule. Place could be a bit cleaner but aside from that it’s great.

It’s a small, nice and cozy Irish bar in Cork. Unfortunately my friend I couldn’t stay long because we had a train to catch lol! Worth visiting for those who like a nice, small place to hangout.

Friendly staff. Great that you can eat your food from Miyazaki here. They have different random things on from time to time like Amuse Bouche from local café's, DJs, Trad sessions, Irish speaking nights etc. Pat the manager is a legend. Good craic.

One of my favourite pubs in Cork. Beautiful and cosy little spot, though it can be difficult to get a seat during busier times. The live music is wonderful, as is the ability to order delicious Japanese food from across the road!

The local pub of our neighborhood :). When we told them we were neighbors, they gave us shots as a gift and the staff was very friendly and attentive!!

Epic little spot. They had this Irish trad band playing that was made up of Irish, American from Kentucky (bluegrass upbringing which was from Irish settlers in America amyway), and Spanish Gaelic from the south of Spain that also has ties to Gaelic music origin. Great selection of beers and nice staff.

What a pleasant surprise. Popped in one late afternoon catching some live music, had a few pints playing board games and then enjoyed an unexpectedly excellent ambient and soft techno dj set. Cool

27/09/2025: Cannot recommend this place enough! from the moment I walked in to the restaurant it felt so comfortable and welcoming, Sarah went above and beyond to make sure every person in the restaurant had everything they needed, her customer service and attention to detail is absolutely impeccable and she’s a huge credit to the restaurant! (And she makes an absolutely banging capirinha) The food came out without any delay and it was honestly everything I could have asked for and more, well seasoned rice and tender juicy steak, it was the very definition of comfort food!! I will be returning and bringing all of my friends here, it’s honestly one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time! Good job guys, you really have something special it was a pleasure, start to finish !! Just wish I had more time so I could try some dessert…here’s to next time ! 😊

15/12/2025: Beautiful rustic interior. A lot of sitting space when you consider the inside and outside. One of the best lattes I've ever had and very affordable. Came today to work for 1-2h and go for a walk around the Lough after. Absolutely gorgeous Monday evening.
