Osteria Italiana Da Simone in Galway

What a great place! The staff were running around like crazy serving everyone. So polite and food was amazing. Great pizza crust.

My partner booked a table for my birthday, the staff didn’t care to look for the booking when we arrived. Food was ok.

The soup wasn’t the best. But the pizza, pasta, lasagna was awesome. And we have been to Italy.

Perfect portions! Lots of choices, lovely food and staff. I would go there again.

My partner and I just visited this restaurant, where we discovered the flavors of home. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and welcoming, especially the waiter Diego...it was like visiting an old friend... Highly recommended.

Had a lovely meal last week at Osteria da Simone. The starters were all delicious. I would really recommend getting the arancini it was really tasty! Didn’t take any photos of the mains but they were also delicious. Would definitely like to come back when visiting again:)

I had a really nice experience at this restaurant. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff were friendly and attentive. I had the carbonara and the food was very tasty, and well presented. Service was quick, and everything went smoothly from start to finish. Overall, it was a great visit, and I’d happily come back again!

Can't believe this place rated 4.7 stars. Their food was just okay. Tasted like frozen Italian food in the U.S.

I had dinner one evening at this restaurant. I had pasta and it was very good. The service was excellent, especially the Italian woman who was always very attentive.

Great experience at Osteria da Simone! We were two people and started with the Antipasto dell’Osteria, a fantastic platter of Italian ham and cheeses. For mains, we had the penne al salmone and tagliatelle frutti di mare, both full of authentic Italian flavour and very generous portions. We finished with a lovely tiramisu. The staff were really friendly. Even though our booking wasn’t in their system, I showed the confirmation email and the waitress was very accommodating: we were seated right away with no wait. You can really taste the Italian here. Definitely will go back next time I’m in Galway!
