Nice place, mostly Italian dishes but the carbonara is made Irish. Italian staff, helpful and honest. Fair price, good for Ireland

I expected a lot better from the food based on reviews.. Pizza dough was not at the races and to be fair if an up market restaurant can't get that right its game over..Garlic bread starter was basic as it gets..olives were tasty .Pasta dish was passable.. 100 euro for 2 with a bottle of wine I was left pretty unsatisfied I'm afraid. Tiramusu was delicious though.

We were able to walk in and be seated quite quickly. The restaurant was decorated with a cute Italian theme and the staff was very attentive. Overall, the food was somewhat underwhelming for us. The bolognese tasted more like an American meat sauce than a typical bolognese. The food was fresh and seemed to be made with quality ingredients.

The food was excellent, will be back

Place of 10, very good food, we ordered the mushroom risotto, Caesar salad, tiramisu and bottle of wine, everything was great 🤤🤤

We all really loved our visit to Osteria Da Simone . There were 10 of us so a big part to cater for . Service was great food was delish and atmosphere fantastic Would definitely recommend- a really great Italian in the heart of Galway !
