Passatempo in Ennis

We received pasta that was very well made and tasted good. The service was very friendly and attentive. However, considering the normally high price, the portions could be a little larger. The normal portion at a normal price is not enough to fill you up.

Family-run restaurant, the owners are very kind, the cuisine is simple but very good....it feels like being in Italy for a moment, prices are normal....

The pasta here was excellent. It was a nice change of pace from the standard Irish cuisine. The staff was friendly and got to talk to them a bit. A hidden gem and afterward took a nice stroll through town.

Ordered a Greek salad and a tomato pasta dish. Good salad with excellent products and well seasoned, good tomato pasta, slightly ahead of cooking (personal tastes). Excellent service. As an Italian, I recommend it

What i can say you can do this at home pasta thinking products should be better quality dont see it was made like a good italian restaurant dishes for us very dissapointent

This tiny restaurant is a fabulous place to eat. The two owners are friendly, hard working and an excellent team. The food is delicious and affordable. I was in Ennis for a business trip. I ate at Passatempo every chance I got, solo and with my partner and for lunch and dinner. My only regret is that I'd paid for breakfast at my hotel so I was unable to have breakfast at Passatempo. I won't make that mistake next time I go to Ennis. I'd recommend a few particular dishes, but they're all so good it might be better to just eat your way through their menu. I did take home several portions of the dessert almonds and enjoyed crunching my way through them at home.
