21/09/2025: Great service. Hardly needed to stand up.
12/07/2025: I was visiting Ireland and staying in Moate whilst recerching my ancestry. I came across P Eagans bar whilst out with my dog. Paul and his staff welcomed me with such warmth and dedication. I have no reservations on recommendations for this wonderful traditional Irish pub. Thankyou Paul & staff for making my stay and very rememberable. Paul & Annie.

The Pantry Moate

27/08/2025: What a wonderful place to stop on the Dublin ~ Galway ~ Dublin run. Really convenient for on and off the motorway too. An amazing toasted sandwich with a big mug of tea for just over €8 ! Staff very friendly and chatty, premises scrupulously clean. A few small tables and chairs outside, ideal for people watching on Moate's fascinating main street. Looks like it's popular with local schoolgoers too, always a good sign.
