Pearl River in Cork

Portions are large but what you get is bang average. Lacks quality, flavour and poor value. Service is adequate but overall a forgettable dining experience. Better Chinese elsewhere in the city. It’s difficult to recommend a visit.

We were pleased to find a nice Chinese restaurant and considering some of the reviews we thought it was just fair to share our experience. We had two won-ton soups (so comforting after a windy walk ^^) with a rich broth obviously homemade, the spare ribs, the mapo tofu and the pineapple duck. Great portions for each course. We had too much rice unfortunately (one portion might be enough!). Nice service with a man and a young woman
