People's in Cavan

I found this restaurant very homely and comfortable and seemed a very popular local spot. The staff were very friendly and attentive from the minute we walked in. The food was ok, but not as spectacular as I would have expected from reading reviews before booking. We tried a few different dishes, including the wings, mushroom toast, Korean chicken, supreme of chicken, which were good, but again I wasn't overly blown away. It's still a very nice restaurant to visit if in Cavan town.

We enjoyed a great meal for 2 in People's Restaurant yesterday and it was fantastic value. The early bird 2 course offer for 29 euros is so good - I had the Buffalo wings and Thai chicken curry. I would happily recommend both to anyone, especially if you have a big appetite. The portions were more than sufficient! The burger was also really good and the drinks were very reasonably priced. Another excellent place to eat in Cavan Town. Diners are spoiled for choice there. I look forward to eating in People's again.

It's probably the best restaurant in county Cavan 👌 Decent portions for reasonable prices. The food was very well prepared and served. Staff allowed us to bring my dog inside. Overall, the restaurant offers a large selection of various dishes, including vegetarian options! I am leaving 5 stars without any doubts 👌 Peoples is a very great concept!Well done!

Wow what can I say, the staff are so so friendly and helpful, the food is to die for, personally I would recommend the slow cooked beef, melt in the mouth 😋

It was a very lovely experience in dining in Cavan. The food is very tasty, the staff is so friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the birthday dinner.

Missed out on the super value early bird offer, so book in advance! Even so, some specials were offered on a very well priced menu. Choices were varied, and all the food (and cocktails) we saw, including our own, was very well presented. Our meal was extremely tasty, and the portion size was perfect. The restaurant was extremely busy during our visit , but the staff were very friendly and professional. We were seated at the most interior part of the room where the tables for 2 were placed. The furnishings in this area need a complete revamp, very worn seating, and the table, although clean was sticky. Lose the cushions. 2 small issues for me ... Just one table too many... we were very close to other couples, and the choice of background music, which appeared to get louder as the evening wore on, as did the general level of conversations overall, Both lowered our lovely of comfort! Hopefully will return on another visit to Cavan.
