I was impressed by the quality of this place in so many ways! From the dishes we were served to the care and attention from the staff, everything was spectacular! I highly recommend making this a must-stop if you're in the area.

We were 4. Not reserved. Waited a while and more than value for the money. Very friendly staff, good service. We went back 2 days later and it felt like we had been customers there for years. TOP. RECOMMENDED

P.F. McCarthy's is an Irish restaurant located in Kenmare, a little town in Southwestern Ireland. We came here with two friends to have dinner. I drank a local beer from Tom Crean Brewery, which was very good. Also, I ate the soup of the day as the first dish, fish and chips as the main dish and a cake with ice-cream as dessert. Very nice and very comfortable restaurant.

The food is of a very high standard, we were very surprised. The best shrimps I've ever had and the main courses of deer burger and fish & chips were also very tasty. More than recommended. The staff is also very friendly and attentive. Simply TOP

Popular pub in Kenmare. Overall god atmosphere and food, but service was lacking. After we got seated we waited almost 10 minutes to order food and had to repeatedly search out our server for assistance. Probably due to being understaffed but it felt like we couldnโ€™t get any service unless we found them.

04/09/2024: We ate in the restaurant on three evenings (reservations recommended, at least for non-hotel guests like us). Parking directly in front of the house. Very friendly staff. Fantastic food, the best during our 2 1/2 week tour of Ireland (with many good restaurants visited). Prices correspond to the level (two people, starter/main/dessert, wine, beer, various non-alcoholic drinks approx. 100 euros)
27/08/2024: Attended a family event here over the weekend and the Black Sole was superb, maybe the best fish I have ever had. Simply excellent.

30/10/2024: We had a lovely time as a couple enjoying drinks, an appetiser, live folk music, and a charming bartender called Vojo. We highly recommend it for an affordable bite and brew plus memorable music making.
