PF McCarthys in Kenmare

Irish style pub, we stopped here to eat and it turned out to be an excellent choice. We ordered two burgers, one with lamb and the other with beef. The bread was fragrant, the meat very tasty and we really enjoyed the hand-cut chips. Informal and very fast service. All accompanied with excellent live music.

Outstanding service and food. Top of my list for places to eat and drink in Kenmare. The staff are so welcoming and cannot do enough to accommodate you, especially Meg who is the star of the show! We had a really exceptional experience at PF McCarthy's and cannot thank them enough for their hospitality. 10/10

We had a very good meal at PF McCarthy’s. There’s a lively bar and it’s a bit noisy but it wasn’t hard to hear. The service was efficient and the food was quite good and came out promptly. The salmon special was delicious, tasty sauce and a good portion. The turkey dinner was really excellent, with the meat melting in your mouth and a well seasoned gravy. Both plates came with a mountain of mashed potatoes. Overall we had a nice dinner and it was a good experience. Lovely staff and casual atmosphere.

Good place, chef has the courage to wander off the too-well-trod culinary road with interesting offers like venison, fritters, spicy apple strudel, Tom Crean 6 magpies stout, all at affordable prices.

It was the only place open at noon. We were surprised finding such a gem by pure chance.

Mi esposo y yo elegimos este lugar porque vi una foto de una tabla especial con un especial que decía “sin gluten” en línea (tengo celíaco) No tenían ese especial, pero tenían otro - una berenjena rellena (rellena de tomates secados al sol, aceitunas, semillas, etc - extraño pero TAN BUENO) y cubierto de queso - fue increíble - y también lo era la sopa de brócoli de queso de cabra! Mi marido tenía un pescado especial en una salsa de limón con patatas y judías verdes que iba a morir por! No puedo recomendar este lugar lo suficientemente! Razonable también - no lo piense dos veces - vaya!

Very good food and the portions are plentiful. I had the Sausage and Bean Casserole. It is more like a hearty stew than the normal sliceable casseroles in the United States. I really enjoyed it along with the shrimp, corn and Coriander fritters. The fritters are not fried which is a warm welcome more like a pancake. All the as very good and I would recommend a stop at PF McCarthy’s while in Ireland!

Best stew I had my entire trip! But to be fair they were all amazing it was hard to choose. The service was great and we had a lovely dinner after a long day of exploring.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. The food is superb (I had a few meals here - all amazing) and the staff professional and friendly. The back garden is a great place for a chat and game of darts. Highly recommend.

Desde el momento en que llegamos (grupo de 10 ) nos atendieron tan bien el personal que sabía lo que estaban haciendo. Las sillas a medida bellamente hechas me llamaron la atención. El servicio era perfecto y el ambiente encantador. La estrella del espectáculo tiene que ser la comida y la calidad y el nivel de experiencia era tan alto. Todos estábamos muy impresionados. Realmente disfruté de la experiencia.
