Phil Grimes in Waterford

I haven't been to this pub in ages. Since university I'd say. It's so cosy and there is a lovely atmosphere there. It has a small upstairs venue too which is cool. The people we spoke to we very friendly too. As was the bar man Tom. So welcoming and witty at the same time. My type of person. A great selection of IPA'S which pleased me no end. 👏🍻🐐

Best pub in town ! Tom is the nicest ever and it's an absolute beautiful place. It feels warm (the fireplace is so nice when it's cold) and homey and so cosy. A must visit with a large choice of beer ! Thank you for the kind welcome !! We will be back !

Philly’s is hands down my favourite pub in Waterford. There’s always a fantastic atmosphere, with both the customers and staff being so friendly and welcoming. Tom, the owner, really runs a great spot – it’s always clean, tidy, and the service is top-notch. The pint of Guinness here is exceptional – you can tell the beer lines are well looked after because I’ve never had a bad one. If you’re into Japanese or German beers, the selection is absolutely second to none. With a pool table, darts, a jukebox, and a brilliant smoking area, Philly’s has everything you’d want in a local. It’s no surprise it’s become my go-to place.

Brilliant service ,great atmosphere , and great beer

A lovely pub that we discovered by accident on a short stop in Waterford. The stuff we're kind enough to accommodate us in the evening even though we were coming with kids. Cosy beer garden as well!

Best place in Waterford to have a drink! Great community and fantastic selection of rotating beers on tap. Amazing bartenders, Tom is the best in Waterford if not Ireland.
