The food was okay, the staff was friendly. But the restroom was pretty dirty and smelly and the place was very noisy.

Literally just finished my meal and glad I came here….food was great and a definite steal if you are doing the lunch menu…creamy chicken starter and steak frites mains… and a solid coffee from the loveliest host… working with one staff down but double the warmth and welcome…simple and tasty food with decent portions… enjoy

Thank you to Tomas and the team at phx bistro who hosted our large group on Thursday. Delicious food prepared with care and very attentive servers. Highly recommend to go here for dinner. Sorry we got a bit loud at the end 🍷🍷🍷😅

Such friendly service, great vibe! I was able to confidently communicate my food allergies and the waiter discussed what I can and cannot have with the chef and got back to me with such clarity. I really appreciated them accomodating my gluten and dairy allergy. Food was delish! My husband had the duck and he said it melted in his mouth. We really enjoyed our experience!

Great food and great spot to stop to eat. Service was excellent, the waitress was very attentive and the quality/price top, not so expensive like the rest of the restaurants in Dublin !!!

This was a great find and well worth the visit. A very varied menu with something for everyone. There were three stand out dishes for us: The burger definitely home made and delicious and perfectly seasoned. The Risotto perfectly cooked with just enough bite in the rice and incredible flavour. The chicken with the truffle mash was perfectly cooked with great flavours Service was excellent and on point .

L' ultima sera a Dublino siamo stati in questo locale, ed abbiamo mangiato discretamente,un ottimo pollo con una buonissima salsa, l' agnello invece risultava un po' duro,il risotto invece un buon piatto. Il servizio invece molto frettoloso e inesperto.Non ci tornerei sinceramente Ottimo il prezzo.

05/01/2026: Dropped by here on a Saturday afternoon. Very lively bar with live music and loads of atmosphere. Highly recommend dropping by.
04/01/2026: A central pub where you can eat typical food, have a pint of Guinness, and listen to live music. We ordered fish and chips, chicken with whiskey sauce, and bacon and cabbage (I was pleasantly surprised). It's true that the prices are a bit high, but it's in Temple Bar, the most touristy area. We booked online because it was quite busy.

The House

31/12/2025: Very impressed. I was out for a drive in howth with my youngest and I started feeling peckish, I decided to give house a try. I got the full Irish breakfast, no egg (I hate eggs) extra sausage and it was unreal. The sausage, bacon and black pudding ŵere amazing and at 12.50 great value. My daughter wasnt hungry but decided after my food had come, she wanted to try the sausage, we ended up placing an order for her. The breakfast was so good I returned two days later and plan to pop back over this weekend.
27/12/2025: Lovely restaurant, good selection of food, busy but efficient too.
