PHX Bistro in Dublin

Myself and my husband visited PHX last Saturday and this was our my third time to eat here and once again the service, and food was excellent. Staff are always friendly and the steak and Hake were delicious. We will return for sure.

The restaurant provided excellent service; all the staff were friendly and helpful. They offer both à la carte and set menus. The food was delicious; we ordered a set menu which was great value. The atmosphere was cozy and warm, like having a meal at a friend's house.

I went into PHX as a walk-in and it was the best decision I could have made. Had the Steak Frites and it was one of the best stakes I had in Ireland. The environment is great but service was the cherry on top! Mateus walked me through the menu (and helped choose the steak btw), and made my experience 10 times more enjoyable. Shout out for everyone there! Definetly recommend!

We were a walk-in to PHX Bistro on the last night of our trip to Dublin. I can speak for everyone in our group when I say that the food was very good, and the service was excellent. Our service team was really very wonderful. My primary concern is that we were asked if anyone had food allergies at the beginning of our meal, and one guest mentioned peanuts as an allergy. Still, this guest was served peanuts, we believe as an accident of cross contamination. No one was at fault, apart from the kitchen staff, and I almost feel bad removing a star from my review. While in our case, the allergy is mild; many people could have had a much more serious reaction. It’s an extremely important issue, and I hope it receives attention going forward. Irrespective, the evening was very enjoyable otherwise, and I would recommend this restaurant to a friend.

Best steak we’ve ever had. I asked the chef how does he achieve such great texture and taste and he explained the process with kindness. Fish and chips also very very good. The waiter was very polite as well. I recommend this place without hesitation.

Delicious food, generous portions, and truly tasty fiabe and chips, served with their own homemade spread. Highly recommended!

Really good, not too expensive, I recommend it. It's a shame they don't have draft beer.
