Very tasty food at good prices! Friendly and good service!

Went for dinner. Decently priced and good food. Small but cosy restaurant. Staff are nice too. I would come back again! 😁

The place is nice and the stuff v friendly. If vegan it’s hard to eat fully here 🥴 there is the option of veggie burger but still feels a bit little as an option, since it’s the only options (of course in the allergies section it mention it has milk in it). If not vegan then I recommend it.

Great place to eat while in Dublin. Make reservations ahead of time as this restaurant is popular with the locals. The food is fantastic, great service, and very attentive.

One of my favorite places to eat or dine well in Dublin, not just going to pubs with typical Irish food. Full day menu around €20 and 'a la carte' menu with more special dishes. They have rice, meat, fish and other options, all with very good preparation, quality and presentation. The atmosphere is calm and intimate, elegant, also perfect for special occasions.

We ordered steak frite and a pasta special and it was really delicious. They took care of us perfectly. I recommend.

PHX just exceed my expectations. Good price for set menu- starter, main and dessert. Only €40. Not big choice of meals, but quality just perfect. Nice not usual salad, proper cooked steak ( real medium rare as was mentioned). I like so much that ordered dessert. And it was just AMAIZING creme brulee Adding to this fast and discreet service. Milena was fantastic Only lighting was a little bit dark for me.

We were spending several nights in Dublin with friends and were looking for a good quality meal out. Something different from the burgers, fish and chips and Irish stew that seems to be the standard fare in all the pubs within 500m of Temple Bar. We followed TripAdvisor recommendations, 15 minutes walk west up the Liffey towards Smithfield, to PHX Bistro. And we were very pleased we did. The food at PHX is very good indeed, all four of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Everything was bursting with flavour. I had the fillet of Hake and I would say it was one of the top three meals I'd had all year. Hats off to Gabriel the chief that night, he really nailed it. A great dinning experience isn't just about the chief and quality of the food, the ambience and warmth of the staff also makes a big difference. And I am really sorry that I have forgotten the name of the Scandinavian girl who looked after us, but she did a great job and was so warm and friendly. My advice to anyone visiting Dublin is if you are looking for a top quality value for money meal then look further afield than Temple Bar and get out to PHX. Another tip would be to call in to the Cobblestone Bar in Smithfield while you are over there for some real Irish music, but that's another story...
