Picaderos in Maynooth

A must-visit in Co. Kildare! Warm welcome, amazing Spanish flavours, and great value. The Early Bird menu (17:00–19:00) is excellent — high-quality dishes with no compromise despite the price. Booking is essential as it’s always busy. Can get noisy when full, but perfect for a lively gathering with friends!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Food was ok but we enjoyed most things

I am not a great fan of the Menu on offer. But still was manage to order some food of my taste. My family members like it. I can say once in a while it is ok for me. But I will not on regular basis. We spent around 160 euro without any alcoholic drinks for 3 adults and 1 child.

Very good Spanish cuisine, recommend the paella !!

The food is awesome but be warned it's SUPER loud inside. Not great if you want to have a conversation.

We had a fantastic night, the staff in picaderos looked after us superbly, Our meals were absolutely delicious Highly recommended. Our birthday party was very impressed Thank you all very much

I have ordered for started cheese croquettes with honey, it was so delicious and as a main dish lamb shank. Meat was so tender that it was basically melting in my mouth. I would definitely recommend this restaurant

Great tapas, buzzing atmosphere

I had the Argentinian striploin steak, it was one of the best steak dinners I have ever had. Cooked perfectly medium, peppercorn sauce was homemade, the little green peppers were delicious and juicy, baby tomatoes and the potato cubes were also lovely. I was full afterwards as it was a generous portion. Pornstar martinis were delicious as a desert drink. I will definitely be back.

Thoroughly enjoyable Saturday night out. Within minutes of arriving, we were offered drinks from their extensive menu. The staff helped us to choose 6 tapas and they did not disappoint! Top three being the beer battered hake, manchego croquettes and the chicken wings... we couldnt resisit their delicious churros to finish off! Thanks to all staff for a most enjoyable evening, we look forward to visiting again soon.
