Pigeon House in Greystones

The antithesis of a greasy spoon, every morsel was a delight, could has chosen anything on the menu and be happy, I chose the Turkish eggs but every plate going out to the other diners looked every bit delicious also. If I could be negative…€3.50 for a small glass of sparkling water was hard to swallow and the scruffy planters and benches on entrance need some love 🤔

Best vegetarian breakfast I have come across. Lots of variety and great attention to detail, from the dressing on the greens to the red onion added to the avocado. Sorry I didn't take a photo!

I used to love coming here but unfortunately the last few times the food quality has changed. I get the same thing on the menu each time I visit (vegetarian) the yoghurt was so sour it was inedible and everything was covered in it. The dish had changed completely,no sauce and the flat bread was overcooked and dry.

Came here for brunch on our way to Wicklow. Had the turkish eggs and lamb special they had at the moment. Excellent food and service. Highly recomended.

Food: Everything in the menu for this restaurant is a 10/10. We got fruit pancakes, creamy mushrooms, crushed avocado, and the dish of the day: vegetarian burger. Fruit pancakes were absolutely delightful. The sweet and tangy berry compote mixed well with vanilla mascarpone. Creamy mushrooms were very tasty as well. We had asked for the eggs to be well done and they delivered it to us. Service: service was friendly, and fast even though the restaurant was buzzing. Atmosphere: Atmosphere is very vibrant and earthy with all the plants. The cafe also has a cozy vibe with all the cute lights overhead each table. We also met Alan, the cat and it made our day. There is an organic produce shop below the cafe and you can buy all the local produce there on your way out. Totally loved everything about this cafe.

Love the bakery , everyone so well made and the staff work hard. The shop is expensive but alot of fresh and organic items so it will be naturally.

Myself and my wife have a sneaky lunch here every Friday while the kids are still in school. Look forward to it every time. Thanks for the consistently awesome food everyone at the Pigeon house. This post was made in connection with a Toast promotion.

Coffee and bread shop was closed by 4pm so we just missed that section but the fruit/veg/meat area open later.
