It's a place must to eat if you go to Dublin. The food was fantastic the service was fantastic, the wine was fantastic. Probably a little bit more air circulation will help, but not a big deal. Had a wonderful lunch here overlooking Trinity College. The food was delicious, Irish comfort dishes. The "tongue and cheek" kidney pudding was luscious. The White Pork Chop was juicy. Famine soup w bone marrow toast was yummy. The people were warm and friendly. It was having an amazing lunch in a cozy Irish townhouse on a rainy afternoon.

Gran comida, tenía una comida maravillosa aquí, segunda vez alrededor de 10 años después, pero fue fantástico, El servidor fue sublime, explicó todo tan bien y nos abrió la mente a cosas que no habríamos elegido normalmente. Todos los platos principales y entrantes fueron fantásticos. El 15 % de servicio obligatorio en una mesa para 5 en toda la factura (incluido el vino) era probablemente OTT, pero sí era bueno.

Very nice and well-kept location, with a limited number of seats, but impeccable mise-en-place. Quite varied menu. I really liked the food, especially the oysters and the meat. Very friendly waiting staff High prices, but okay considering the quality offered

19/07/2025: This place came recommended from a local in Dublin. This is exactly what you want for a classic Irish cafe. The full Irish breakfast and Irish coffee were spot on and delicious. I also cannot say enough about the incredibly kind and friendly owner and staff. They made the experience one to remember and were very helpful as a first time visitor to Ireland. Give this place a try for an authentic Irish breakfast and skip all the tourist traps out there!
15/07/2025: Went to to Dublin from Edinburgh for the day (just doon the road) with my daughter and The Stage Door was our first port of call when we arrived in the town by bus . Alan (the manager) had us in stitches 😂😂 from the very start when we were looking at the menu outside, his charm, wit and friendliness made us feel at ease . It was busy when we arrived but waited only minutes to get a table outside as the weather was nice. Got two full Irish breakfasts which was served within a short time of ordering. Breakfast was brilliant Alan 😋👍🍀, will most definitely have a breakfast here again on my next visit , Yeah baby!!!! 😂😂,as your server would say !! Totally made our day, well done you guys 👌
