Poor Relation in Cork

A lovely pub in Cork, fairly big inside great staff.

It was my first time coming here today and I was met with nothing but kindness and hospitality by both the staff and customers. Great drink. Will call again 🫶

Great Pint of Murphys, nice spot any time I visit.

I had no idea what to order since I rarely go to pubs, but the service was so nice and friendly that they immediately figured out what I needed. Even if you're alone, this is a nice place to stop. Thank you

We had a few drinks here last Saturday as we stumbled across it. Great selection of drinks, very comfortable and chill seating area but we stayed outside underneath heaters. All the bar staff were friendly!

Rang in the new year here. We watched a band play and had many Guinness's. The staff is cool and had interesting things to say. Just a bad ass pub.

Where do i start? Quite possibly the bhest pint of stout that has ever touched my cold, dead lips! Goes down like a call girl that was given a generous tip. The regular pint men who can be found sitting at the counter have many a story to tell and joke to craic. Delightful surroundings in this quaint but cosey part of Cork city. I remember my first time visiting. A cold December night, the fire roaring, the Craic - mighty. Luke Kelly was playing as the regulars hummed along. I sat down with my now ex wife, and drank it dry. 10/10 will be back. x

All the staff and regulars here are pretty great, and quick service at the bar although it’s popular so can be hard to squeeze in. They do a lot of live music as well and the performers always bring the best energy to the place. Classic snacks available, and I think if memory serves right they have mulled wine around Christmas, I keep trying to ask when it is. 😂
