Porter House in Westport

I’m from the states to see a different type of pub is different from ours! It’s beautiful and great way to see locals. Also there’s music!

Walking past we heard music in so we went in for a drink. Great atmosphere, friendly people and of course good Guinness. A wonderful taste of Irish pub culture.

Best and most authentic pub in Ireland, I have ever seen. Worth a longer way.

I didn't have food here but the atmosphere and craic was mighty.

Authentic Irish pub with lively music.No food. The bartenders are friendly and efficient. The pub can be quite full when music is on. Squeeze in, order a pint and enjoy the music. Remember to not drink your Guinness until it settles and is black.

Brilliant couple of hours music and atmosphere ,well worth a visit ,a few people had told us to go there when visiting westport

Westport—After our walking tour Guide Ed recommended we try the Porterhouse for live music. We dropped in Monday night for the 6:30 session which was lovely, huge crowd great music, lots of crowd participation. We came back on Tuesday night 6:30 session, another large crowd and two more talented musicians. If you’re near Westport check out Porterhouse. No food so Guinness will need to sustain you
